Loved the location. Terrific views of the lake and island. Pool club across from the Locanda offered even better views and was not at all crowded (probably is during the summer months). Restaurant at the Locanda was good and had terrace seating with views of the lake.

Sulzano is a magical place nestled between the lake and mountains. Tourists can enjoy the beauty of the Lake Iseo. The water is crystal clear. The view over the lake is absolutely breathtaking. It’s a wonderful starting point for trekking the ancient Valerian Road or hiking the mountains. There are regular ferries to Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Europe. Sulzano is definitely worth a visit.

Very convenient location for taking ferry to Monte Isola-- 2 minute ride. Also, convenient for cycling north to Vellow & around to the western side. Rivalago hotel was a wonderful place to stay & dine. Tourist Info office very helpful with suggested biking routes & ferry schedules for various towns around the lake. Local biking shop near the ferry very friendly, only 15 euro for daily bike rental. Great staff & sunset views at Il Cacciatore Restaurant. Also, loved the food at Rivalago Hotel. Overall found very limited restaurant choices in Sulzano & no boutiques. Loved our 1st visit to the lake, but next time will stay somewhere with more dining & shopping options

Sulzano is a brilliant place to stay, with spectacular scenery, friendly people, and plenty to explore. A short train trip to Iseo and then brief walk brought us to Torbiere del Sebino nature reserve. We also jumped on the regular ferry across to Monte Isola, and climbed up for the marvellous view. The weather in September was gorgeous, and the beautiful butterflies, lizards, and other local wildlife kept us fascinated all week long.

Your impressions about Lake Iseo, Sulzano and its neighbourhood depends on the weather really. We've had a very rainy three days there, we've spent the whole day in raincoat. After all, it's a wonderful place to visit, we'll back when the rain is over.:-) Be careful with the siesta time, from 13 AM until 19 PM every restaurant is closed, only snack bars are open. Thanks for the supermarket, where there is a small room with a microwave oven, we could warm up our meal we've bought there. In Sulzano we have met many very kind residents, they love their village and the lake.

Lago D'Iseo is amazingly beautiful and this Hotel offers possibly the best view! The pool is lovely, the whol sunbed/pool position by the lake offering lake swimming too is perfect. Whilst our room was a little small we were having such a good time we didn't care. The balcony was a real treat and the view from the room was perfect. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was fairly good. We will be going back to this slice of Paradise

Parking was off the road outside the property (not secure - but not a problem) It is a wonderful place to spend holiday time! The appartment is located in the old house of the harbour mastor, is furnished with attention to detail and has all necessary equipment. Davide is a lovely host and always available to give support or advice. Parking is a 10 minutes walk away but no issue as it is possible to stop close to the appartment for unloading and loading the car. See you soon again Davide!ChristianGermany

There is parking externally available about a 10 min walk away (steep hill). Breakfast was next level amazing. There was even soy milk cappucino. Restaurant was excellent for dinner. Room was super. People and service were great and we would love to come back and recommended for anyone to stay. The view of the lake and mount Isola from terrace is amazing and mesmerizing. Wifi was not working. Although It didn't bother me since I wanted to relax and enjoy without being on phone. 😊😁
