In my bed and breakfast, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff will make you feel at home. Inside it there are 3 double bedrooms and a living room with kitchenette. In each room there is a double bed, a bathroom with shower and a terrace. The stay of children up to two years old is free (using your own cradle). It can also be added an extra bed for children up to six years old. The rooms are located at the top floor and they benefit an excellent view. The tranquility offered is priceless. In the same building, on the ground floor, there are a bar and a mini-market. In the spacious living room there is a kitchen that can be used by guests. In this room the breakfast is served and you can find informative about curiosity, traditions, local products and activities.

I am a housewife, with years of experience in interpersonal relationships for previous work activities where i was in close contact with people. My b&b opened very recently, it represents a new challenge for me, my goals are the welcome and the services offered to guests.

Located in Catasco, a hamlet of Garzeno (CO), our B&B is lost into the tranquility of the mountains which surround the upper Lake Como, 10 minutes by car from the shores. This area is ideal for hiking, walking, cycling and running. This place is also esteemed by the mountain lovers, for its unspoiled nature and for its good food: around here there are many crotti, cottages and restaurants, where you can taste, among other specialties, also traditional culinary products of Garzeno and in general of the Albano Valley (such as "Braschino", "Polenta Taragna", " pulenta Uncia "," Zighel "," Bruchet "," Machett "," Rustii "...). Moreover, Catasco can be a viable alternative to relax yourself by the hectic pace of city life: "a simple relaxing break amid the mountains a few steps from the shores of the lake." B&B Zia Maria is easily accessible travelling by the road SP45 from Dongo and following the direction Garzeno. It's far about 50km from Como and Lugano, 27km from the nearest railway station (Colico - LC) and 107km from the nearest internetional airport (Orio Al Serio - BG).
