Welcoming beach house. The staff is very helpful and took care of everything from start to finish. Helpful tips on boat trips, coffee shops and restaurants.
The beach is directly in front of the house: fresh mango juice, coconuts and the island reef starts a few meters away from the shore with nice snorkeling opportunities (incl. black tip sharks). Generous continental breakfast.
Offering a barbecue and children's playground, Olhumathi View Inn is located in Ukulhas. The guest house has a fitness center and a private beach area. Free private parking is available on site.

People working in this hotel are really nice.
They were so helpful and kind.
I stayed there for 2 night.
In the dinner , they gave us some complementary food.by the way , there is a small restaurant belonging to hotel where you can find delicious food with good price.
My favorite was Tom Yam Soup and slide fish.
Their mixed fresh juice was also perfect.
And the day we left , they did bring us to the speed boat without any cost.
As a result , it was good stay there.
Thank you so much Mr. SUROS (hopefully it is correct typing)

The host of the hotel was an excellent guy who provided everything we needed. The room and property itself were also magnificent for such price. We really enjoyed our holiday here because it exceeded all our expectations. We also had a snorkeling activity organized by the host for a fair price. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Surely, if we're to repeat our trip to Ukulhas, we would stay in Holiday Haven Hotel

Great location to main beach, friendly and aaccommodating staff, great facilities.
There's a few construction sites on the island. So, I wouldn't go there because of noise and construction dust. Also, when they finish and fill up those multi-storey buildings, I can't imagine how such a small island can bear so many tourists.

This local island can be reached by speed boat in 80 mins apart from shared ferry which is cheaper and takes longer time. There are 2 scheduled shared speed boat transfer services from Male airport to Island, 11:00 and 16:00 and from island at 09:00 and 1300 except on Fridays at 14:00 towards Male.
Island has local restaurants, juice, coffee shops, 3 praying places, local grocery, souvenir shops and lot of excursion booking offices.
Nice budget properties available to explore culture and to do water activities like deep snorkeling, scuba, dive with manta and sharks apart from island hopping and similar activities.

The place must have been nice once, but right now it badly needs renovation. The rooms are humid, walls are peeling, equipment is either rusty, dirty, or not working, or both, f.e. ventillation in the bathroom, clogged shower drain, broken toilet seat, rusty, broken tap. The room was'nt cleaned properly. Three hangers in the wardrobe, for two persons, one of them broken. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special, missed the vegetables. They provided a bottle of drinking water every day. The Villas name is misleading, because there is no sea view at all, due to the hotel construction in front of the villa,, that is blocking the view. The rooms have to bee payed for in advance, right after arrival, no matter in what condition they are. Even if asked for, there is no receipt at all. Transfer from the port to the hotel in an open mini truck, behind the seats there were screws sticking out aiming our back. The small garden is nice, with beautiful flowers, well looked after. The shore is real close. The island is so small though, that all the hotels on Ukulhas can claim that. We searched the island for other hotels, and compared to Sea view Villa Ukulhas there are much better accomodations to find for better price, where facts are facts and where one gets value for his or her money.
As for dining out, I would recommemd Restaurant Pomodoro nereby to everyone. Great place, great, fresh see food, great personell. Apart from the striking see our dinners were the most memorable ones on the island.

A nice long bikini beach with a good house reef.
A nice long bikini beach with a good house reef. A good place for snorkling and relaxing on the beach. Several good places where you can eat for reasonable price. Negatives - many new buildings are being built at the moment - sort of a construction site.

A cute little island.
A cute little island. This was a great place to stay to get a bit paradise while not being completely detached from the locals. Definitely go jerskiing to the nearby sand bar before sunset to see hundreds of hermit crabs, walk to the boat dock in the evening to see sharks, sting rays and sea turtles and set up an excursion to swim with manta rays in the morning. All of these activities range from free to waaay less than they cost at the resorts.

We have been to Ukulhas 5 years ago and now recently!
We have been to Ukulhas 5 years ago and now recently! We think it's a beautifull island with a amazing beach where you can enjoy the sun, the housereef, beachwalks etc. At night, you can watch rays and nurse sharks swimming in the harbour. Ukulhas offers all kinds of activities; for example Manta Ray Safari. This is an amazing experience! We did book our hotel with diner at Celeste, with very nice meals. You can also go to other restaurants of course, which I think are good too! We would reccomend Ukulhas!
West Sands is a gem in wonderful Ukulhas. After experiencing Maldives there, there’s no way back. This is real Maldives. The island offered a splendid beach and the best snorkeling ever. The hotel is unparalleled value for money with great location, very nice decor, good restaurant (the New Year’s dinner on the beach was fantastic) and super gentle staff. No resort frills, but a perfect blend of nature, taste and style. It went beyond expectations and no doubt we will be back!
The room was very close to the beach and it was clean. The space would have been fine for two people or maybe even three but as four friends we felt very cramped. The shower was lovely and big and had good water pressure. The staff were mostly friendly and accommodating. The place was very cheap though so for a holiday in the Maldives it was very affordable. If you are looking for a budget place with food included then I would recommend this place but don't expect luxury.
Great location close to the beach with amazing snorkeling. We saw turtles, stingrays, reef sharks every time we were im the water. Beach was perfect for kids also. Room was clean and spacious and the breakfast were good as well. Hotel managed manta rays safari for us and people were always trying to help with anything we needed. If we will come to Maldives in thr future we will definitely come back again and recommend this island and hotel to our friends and family.
We loved the hotel, the room and the stuff
Fazeel was a great host and so were the rest of the people there
It was the first time we traveled to Maldives and we had to get used with some local aspects, but they were patient with us and guided us for everything we needed to know
They offeered us quality services and also they helped us qith the logistics
Big thanks to everyone there!
Only the kitchen works perfectly in the hotel, and the cook and waiters sincerely try to help and it is important for them that you leave well-fed and satisfied! The food is always delicious and fresh, yes it is monotonous, but this is the Maldives, so we fully understand.
First time I travelled to an inhabited island in the Maldives. And I did make the right choice, including the stay at Salt Villa. Superb location, just right opposite the best beach of the island. The staff is outstanding, super friendly and helpful.
The staff, their attitude and cooperation.
Food was excellent ! I was worried about vegetarian food, but this hotel's connected restaurant, served the best Indian which I ate in the island. It really exceeded my expectation in Maldives !
The hotel was very close to the beach, staff was super friendly and the breakfasts or off the menu food was also very good.
Room was spacious with all you need on budget vacation on Maldives.
Would definitely go there again.
-Food (pick from manu, not bufet!! totally best from our Maldives trip)
-Service, and kindness
-Available snorkeling sets
-Harbour pickup
-Beautifull island!!!
