NOT AS DESCRIBED ON THE WEBSITE, EXACT OPPOSITE, DIRTY, OLD, STINKY! Liked · Unfortunately NOTHING AT ALL! The only good thing was the receptionist had spoken English & tried to guide me to the property. Disliked · I paid for the room online over the Booking.com. The pictures of the property on the website were neat & looked tidy! But as i have arrived it was exact the opposite! The receptionist had to guide me to the property on the phone as at the time major renovation was in progress & scaffolding were placed in front of the property, which made it difficult to locate. The area where the hotel is based, looked rough, the carpets in the lobby were stinky & to finish the experience off, my room has been already sold to someone else, even though I have paid for it online! I got a cash refund & went out upset, as i driven for 3 days & was desperate to rest & now I was left to look for a room to sleep, last minute prices & availability in a city late night are a challenge for a tired traveller! Very Disappointing!

The hotel is located in the historic old park (Hoevevoorde estate) to walk or jog in the mornings, has tennis courts and brasserie/restaurant, and few conference rooms - good value. It is rather basic, but clean and has prompt room service. The breakfast bar is serving continental breakfast for 15 euros - pretty standard. The staff was friendly. There is a "bunker museum" in the park (apparently closed) - the bunkers were used as command point during WW2.

The check-in was smooth. The staff were helpful whenever I had a question or asked for assistance. The room was quite spacious. I paid just under 200 Euros for a three-night stay for two people. This was a better price per person per night than hostels in Den Haag or Rotterdam. It is very easy to get to Den Haag or Delft by train from Rijswijk. The hot water supply was good and the water pressure was good. The beds were comfortable enough.

A gregarious welcome - fascinating historical house with interesting original features. We appreciated the fact that private parking was available. A no frills functional room - spacious and with access to a balcony. Location good for our visit to Huygens' Rijswijk. Best feature: small but good shower. A good choice of local restaurants within walking distance.

It is a pretty cute and cool location with a small nearby shopping street incl. grocery store, pubs, and a couple restaurants. The apartment was very nice with natural light, full kitchen, plants, and lots of space. Felt more like being home than a hotel or B&B. Staff was very friendly and how to say : it was overall very private (no one really there).

Comfy beds (but low), nice enough hotel that ticks all the boxes. Extensive breakfast (but expensive!), free drink during the stay for registered guests, and good service during breakfast to get an egg

Tram and bus stop are in front of the hotel. You can park paid on the hotel parkingplace but there is enough free space to park your car close by. Breakfast and dinner for a reasonable price.
