Host Info

A Cascais local who wouldn't change his town for anywhere else! Passion for travelling, eating and sometimes drinking, cooking, exploring new cultures and meeting new people. Have always grown up with dogs, I live in a property with 6 canines whom I consider family. Hosting has also become one of my hobbies so feel free to stay with me.
Located in the quiet residential area of the center of Cascais. This town was for centuries a fishing village and was later the summer holiday retreat of royalty and Portuguese nobility, which contributed to its urban and tourism development. Close to museums (Museu Paula Rego, Museu do Mar, Museu Condes de Castro Guimaraes). Close to attractions (Boca do Inferno, Santa Marta Lighthouse, Cascais Harbour, beaches, cycling tracks). Close to parks (Parque Marchal Carmona, Parque da Ribeira dos Mochos, Jardim Visconde da Luz) The region of Cascais has a Mediterranean climate with dry and cool summers due to the currents of the Atlantic Ocean. The rainfall winters have temperatures of around 6 to 15 degrees celsius. This climate combined with the great fishing had a big impact to the local cuisine which is mainly composed of fish and seafood.
