It was really pity to see the city -orphan (. Absolutely filthy , the beach literally dying before your eyes . We found couple of restaurants ( TO-TO and “COMPANY 2”with good food and our hotel ( boutique hotel ARCHEO was very well kept and only these 2 things gave us nice impressions. The plAce has big potential but local consul needs to do a lot more to clean the streets of the city .

The bed is super comfortable, there was lots of storage space and even though it was the weekend, it was super quiet at night. Our host, Giusi, went above and beyond, not only with the little extras like fresh pastries and water, but buying us another phone adapter (and would not let us pay for it), arranging a taxi to our next destination and was a huge help when our bus to Gela was cancelled.GailCanada

We arrived grumpy and had difficulty parking. The owner went out of his way to help us and we were extremely grateful for his assistance. His restaurant recommendation was on point. The breakfast has a wide selections of pastries, fresh squeezed orange juice and other standard Italian hotel items. Room was large. Bed comfortable. Room quiet. Staff friendly and helpful, though mostly limited to Italian for communication.
