Very clean. Very quiet. Very welcoming. Very close to the airport. Excellent breakfast. No hassle getting to and from the B and B. Business is slow during the winter, so we were the only guests at the time. Takes time getting accustomed to the small areas. The entire space would fit inside my bathroom. If you are a big guy, forget about taking a shower. This wasn't a problem for us. If you are on a budget, this is the place.

I was passing through on my way to FCO. I had come from an overnight train to Rome, and checked in a bit after that. I basically stayed there to sleep and write the entire time, and it was a nice place for that, and then had to catch a plane the next morning.

My room - the deluxe room at the end of the hall (think it was number 1 from memory?) was very nice. Loads of room - nice white decor, wonderful lounge and extremely comfy bed. My friend's room down the hall was darker and very much smaller.
I liked the way all toiletries were there - especially being the last night before flying back to Australia - it was handy.
I liked the prepacked breakfast as we had a very early departure.
It's the nearest sea from Rome.
The problem is buses are not often passing there.
There are not that much for explore at the city centre.
I like that quiet area between the bus stop and the beach.

I was looking for a place to stay near the airport for one night. The place is all farms & basically very inconvenient to get to. All back roads. One can see the airport, but to get to it, it takes half hour. I was told that taxi drivers don't even want to take anyone there & they charge extra. If one. comes without a car , u are stranded. The morning we left there was a couple outside & they said they had been waiting for a cab for about half hour. Avoid Fregene, unless one is looking for a farmland stay

The resort was just a 30 minutes taxi ride from the Roma airport. Due to Covid-19 the resort was not a busy as I expected, but enough people around so I didn't feel like I was the only person there. Restaurants were still open, although not all of them. The resort was great for a lazy long weekend, sitting by the pool and walking along the beach. I'm thinking of going back next month, Covid-19 permitting.

The beach was beautiful and the sand was very soft.
Restaurants were quaint and offered delicious food. This
would be a great family beach in the summer or for couples
or adults. It is definitely not a "party location."

The beach club restaurants were a little disorganised and I found the pasta dishes to be not as I expected. it is very difficult to get around Fregene without some sort of your own transport. In hindsite I woulf recommend hiring a car if you are going to Fregene as the public transport is very limited. The beach clubs are for the most very worn out, and there are very few shops close to the beach area.
The town is a lot of very nice houses to look at, but the beach was split up by different beach clubs. I would have liked to visit the nature reserve but it was very hard to access it from the town. The Restaurants in the town were good and I really enjoyed S Club's atmosphere.

Fregene a small village in Italy. Was amazing.
Fregene a small village in Italy. Was amazing. Hotel across the beach and beach restaurants made it convenient. The staff was very friendly and would def recommend it to family and friends. it was a nice get-away after we had been in paris for 4 days. It is a 30 min car ride at 6 am to Vatican and so well worth the stay to get away from he more touristy places like Rome and the OCEAN VIEW of our 2nd floor room made it so relaxing. The bicycles on the property are available to use at no extra charge and came in handy when we rode into town to the supermarket for the few things we needed. Totally an amazing place to stay. NOT LUXURIOUS - but very COZY and VERY CLEAN. loved every minute of it.
Very friendly and helpful staff, all of them are willing to help and make our stay as much enjoyable as possible.
It possible to rent bikes in the hotel what is very comfortable.
Wifi is available only in lobby but it works very good. Also the lobby is quite big with many seating areas both inside and outside.
Hotel is fresh and clean and every day the cleaning staff come to change bed sheets and towels.
There is fridge in the room.
Sea is in 3 minute walk.
Breakfast also was good.
Marco is an amazing host. Super friendly, kind and very helpful. it’s amazing that you can use the bikes from the property, that was great for my dad that is a very slow walker, but does well on a bike. Thank you for the selection of teas, juices and snacks provided all day long. that was much appreciated.
I’ve already recommended this place to my friends that are planning a trip to Fregene.
Excellent location, a short walk to the beach and to the grocery store.
Highly recommended!
I don't normally write reviews, but this place exceeded my expectations. It's a great deal for its location by the beach, bedroom accommodations, and breakfast. It was incredibly helpful to contact Lisa through WhatsApp, and she'd reply promptly with any help or advice. The family is very warm and made me feel comfortable the moment I arrived. I cannot recommend this place enough, especially for the price you pay. I will definitely stay again when I return to Italy.
The property was clean and close to the beach. One of the A/C wasn’t blowing cold air and we also had a slow leak in one of the showers. I notified Morena and Maurizio (owner) and both items were taken care of within hours. Both were very responsive fixing those small items. The remainder of our stay was trouble free which was enjoyed on the beach as well as in the center of Fregene. Would rent again in a heart beat.
Close to some local restaurants which proved to be really tasty, of course...
The beach is right on the doorstep. 2 mins most.
Plus it’s just a short hop into Rome centre by bus to Cornelia and quick metro.
The Villa is amazing and really well kept and comfortable. We had 7 adults and it was brilliant.
The host was very welcoming and friendly.
The private pool was very nice!!
Highly recommended!
The property was great. It was a small learning curve if you’re American and you’re in a European hotel or bed-and-breakfast, so whatever took me a while to learn the air conditioner to understand that the lock on the door turns only One Direction and you have to turn it more than once, but overall it was a five-star comfortable place with an unbelievably helpful owner.
Very comfortabl, clean and nicely furnished rooms in a quiet road in leafy Fregene, a 20 minute taxi ride from Rome Fiumicino Airport (but very quiet). Lovely house with terrace and garden. The beach is a three-minute walk away; host Geogio is very helpful. We only spent one night because we had to travel on to a conference but would have liked to stay longer.
After traveling through Italy and Greece for three weeks, having some quiet time our last night abroad was a great way to wind down and reflect on our trip. We bought a bottle of wine at the restaurant and sat on the back patio overlooking the yard, enjoying the quiet, cool evening. We then had dinner in the restaurant which was absolutely amazing!
easy access to beach and town, unique architecture and beautiful landscaping, scrupulously clean, with a wonderfully friendly staff and lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out in…bikes to borrow, a ping pong table…good food for when you didn’t feel like venturing out…it was a wonderful place.
Close to the beach, about 12-20 min walk depending which beach spot, you can borrow bike for free. The room with the bathroom had large bed and lots of closet space. The owners were very lovely people. WiFi worked ok. Close to the food market and ATM.
Great location 15 minute walk from the beach. Close to a supermarket and a pastry shop for breakfast. Lovely, spacious balcony. Well-fitted kitchen and facilities. Plenty of towels and shower gel/soap. Washing up and cleaning fluids provided.
I come from Switzerland 🇨🇭 for 9 days with my kids. The area is very good. most I like the beach ⛱️ is 4-5 minutes close to the Villa Gulia🍨 the bus Station infront &very cheap Bus ticket 1.30 £ I like that 😊
Close to the beach & a supermarket. Hosts were responsive (took our washing because the machine didn't work). They also let us stay in the apartment a little longer until our lift arrived
