Property info

In our Heart of Alfama, you will find an ideal space for four. Unlike the usual, 2 of our guests will not have to sleep in the living room as you will have two different sleeping spaces, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. The living room will stay intact, for you to enjoy the house. Comfortable, cosy, typical and classy. As it is quite easy to arrive as described in the other section, it is also easy to go up as Heart of Alfama is in a first floor, which also gives more privacy than a ground floor.

Neighborhood info

Alfama is the most typical neighbourhood in Lisbon. The narrow streets in cobble stone, the colours of the old but renovated buildings and a vibrant atmosphere surrounding you, make it an unique cocktail where you have to live to understand. This is the birthplace of Fado, Portuguese national song. Not by chance, Fado museum is just 150 meters from Heart of Alfama. You can find typical restaurants where the employees or the clients take their chances in singing after a few glasses of wine. Spontaneous, friendly and joyful; this is what you will find here. In a 10 minutes walking radius you have incredible historic landmarks. In June, during Lisbon popular parties, you will be in the center of the party. 5 minutes walk from the Santa Apolónia subway and train station. Buses passing all the time. The typical Lisbon trams are also 5 minutes away. You can go everywhere from the Heart of Alfama. Unlikely other places in Lisbon, you will not have to climb with your bags through our famous, beautiful but inclined hills! You can also take a taxi and walk just 2 minutes to Heart of Alfama. Also, if you enjoy night life you have Lux, the most famous club in Portugal at a walking distance
