I stayed at this hotel in two occasions.
The hotel is right by the ship channel that goes from the River Tiber to Fiumicino.
From my room I had both times nice views towards the ship channel and the sea.
It is a beautiful, modern hotel, and I didn't have any major issues.
But I am usually easily pleased, and if I have a good view, I can overlook a lot of things, which I did.
The truth is that this property is probably more of a 3-star hotel instead of 4.
The restaurant has a view to the ship channel, but its amenities are more typical of a 3-star hotel.
The food is just OK while the prices are for a 4-star hotel.
The hotel is at about 5km from Fiumicino airport and the price of transportation varies greatly.
Going from the airport to the hotel, I look taxis, and I paid one time 25 Euros and the other 40 Euros !!!
For returning to the airport, I took the hotel's shuttle and it was only a few dollars.
Overall, I am rating this based on expectations for a 4-star hotel because that is what they say it is.
If it was a 3-star hotel, it would have gotten from me 9 or 10 stars.
I would stay again, but I wouldn't use taxis.

Fiumicino is best known for its access to the Eternal City through Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport. Despite this recent claim to fame, Fiumicino includes several archaeological sites around the ancient harbors of Ostia and Portus. It's also an important fishing center and summer resort, especially along the beaches and coves of Isola Sacra.
Hosting the busiest airport in Italy and the sixth busiest in Europe, the town has grown in a series of services that fit with these suburban functions. Examples are the Fiera di Roma conference center, or the Parco Leonardo recreation center.
The town of Fiumicino is 20 miles from central Rome, while Da Vinci Airport is 19 miles away from the Italian capital. The remains of Ostia Antica are less than 6 miles away.
Like many airports in the world, you can find hotels in Fiumicino Airport directly on its premises, providing effortless access to your flights.
Since most Fiumicino hotels are in the Isola Sacra area, you might get the chance to enjoy the Tyrrhenian beaches and the tasty Italian seafood.

It was the day before our trip back to the states coming from Greece. I booked accommodations there because of it being so close to the airport. Less than 10 minutes. Fiumicino is a wonderful area to visit.

We stayed one night at Il Piccolo before our flight home.
We stayed one night at Il Piccolo before our flight home. The accommodation was really close to the airport and Costantino helped me organise a shuttle to the airport.
The place was lovely and clean and the communication was very good. Breakfast was supplied and it was amazing.
As we had a late flight we were able to leave our luggage at the place while we explored Fiumicino.
Would highly recommend Il Piccolo.

Fiumicino is a charming and real town without the trappings of tourism. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops that seem to cater to more locals than tourists. It was fun to wander about and soak up the atmosphere of this real fishing town.

The location close to the airport was good for us and the time that we had available.
The port was a short walk away and had good restaurants and a nice vibe.
The breakfast was OK, simple and adequate for us. It would have been improved if we had access to more than just a kettle and coffee machine as we got a takeaway pizza and had no plates. Would suggest that other travellers eat at the pizza shop itself.

We often choose to stay in Fiumicino as a staging area either upon arrival or departure from Roma (FCO airport). It has a sort of edgy border town vibe to it that makes it feel more authentic. It has a nice promenade along the mouth of the river with many cafes, bars, & restaurants; you can fall into a bad tourist place or find a nice authentic trattoria, and also some very posh establishments; most featuring local fish.
It is close to the airport so it's convenient and the prices for a room are lower than going into Rome proper.
Room was
Clean. Shower was strong with lots of hot water. Sheets and towels clean. Bed comfortable.
Friendly employees. Great location close to the shopping mall. Inside the mall is a food court. Note there are two hotels in this location B&B Hotel Roma Fiumicino Aeroporto Fiera 2 is the one across the train track. Fiera 1 is the one that is connected to the shopping mall building. Very easy just to cross over the track with the upper walkway and down. It also is convenient location to take the train. Just steps away.
This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you have a late flight in or an early flight out of Rome! The location is less than a 15 minute drive from the airport and having a shuttle makes it super easy. It's walking distance to a ton of restaurants and only a 20 minute walk to the beach. The staff was super nice and offered restaurant recommendations. The room was clean and a decent size. Considering this hotel is half the price of the hotels at the airport I would highly recommend staying here.
If you are looking for a place to stay near the airport and have some rest before your trip, I totally recommend it. I took the decision to look for a hotel in-between flights and booked the room on the bus from the plane to the terminal. Not even 2' after I booked they asked me if I needed a shuttle and picked me right away. The hotel is literally 5-10' drive from Fiumicino airport.
There are plenty of restaurants nearby.
The room is nice and practical and clean.
The staff very friendly.
Exceptional kind hosts that waited for us way past midnight, as our flight had delay and it took forever to get a taxi from the airport to take us to the accomodation (beware at night times the flat rate for taxi is EUR40, whether they take you to Roma Termini (35min drive) or, like us, 5 mins up the road in Fiumicino.)
The next morning the hosts offered to take us privately back to the airport for EUR20. Very friendly, kind and made us feel welcome, even though for just a few hours.
We had to go to a wedding in Fiumicino, landed in the afternoon in the airport nearby and left in the morning. The hotel is charmingly located along one of the parts of the river Tevere coming from Rome, just meters away from the sea. The promenade along the canal is full with charming bars/restaurants. The hotel itself was pleasant, and so was the room with its big balcony with river view. Shuttle to the airport for a reasonable price.
Clean, cozy and friendly. Luca is such a great host. It’s like staying with family. Luca is very welcoming and helpful, he offers shuttle service to and from airport and gives great advice on where to eat in Fiumicino. We will definitely return if flying to Fiumicino again. They also offer a wonderful breakfast! If you don’t like staying in big hotels, this is your place!
We stay at this little hotel which has a lovely little grassy courtyard in which our little dog loves to run before our long flight home. The location to the Fiumicino airport is great, and we find it is very quiet inside the rooms in spite of airport noises. We will definitely return when we need overnight accommodation before flying home to Canada from Italy
I have traveled most of the world and stayed in many hotels and resorts. This hotel far exceeds most if not all for me. The bonus is that when traveling into Rome it is not your typical Airport Hotel which are usually terrible and if not terrible, typical. I would and plan on coming just to stay for a weekend getaway. Well worth it!
This is a lovely little hotel only 15 minutes from Fiumicino airport. The one challenge is simply taxi transportation to their location. However, Giovanni and Federica were great and offered a shuttle both ways. We only used it in the return but the driver, Giuseppe, was very punctual. All in all, a good stay at a great price.
We chose this property as we had a late night flight into Rome’s Fiumicino airport and an early morning flight out. The hotel is located inside the airport. It was convenient, clean and comfortable. Even though the restaurant had closed when we arrived, the hotel accommodated us with room service for pasta and wine.
Lovely modern hotel close to the airport. Very easy to get to. Extremely clean. Very nice staff. Good range of microwaveable food if like me you arrived too late for the local restaurants. Great shuttle service. Wonderfully comfortable beds. Yes if they are all like this, B&B Hotels have a winning formula.
This was our second time here. It's the perfect hotel for those who want to stay near the airport. The rooms are good, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The location is surprisingly excellent. Fiumicino is full of nightlife and excellent fish restaurants!
A perfect stop if you have an early flight. The hotel is 10 min away from Fiumicino Airport by taxi. And the hotel offers taxi service (20-25€). Our room was very clean and cozy. The girl who works at the reception was really welcoming, helpful and friendly.
Perfectly near the airport, 24/hr reception so could check in easily despite the flight delay (we have lost money because other Fiumicino hotels found on booking would not accept late check-in), staff very supportive. The suite was excellent and comfortable.
Very convenient location, especially for one night after the arrival at Fiumicino airport. For departure the same hotel opposite the railway is recommended. Breakfast is also good.
