There is this place in the mountains that would go straight to your head! Hidden in the mysterious shadow of the majestic Mount Champagne, you'll find an upmarket self-catering guesthouse. This lakeside house captures the rugged grandeur of the Drakensberg and its nature while still offering the security of interior luxuries of modern day life. The house was designed and newly built in 2016. I is a spacious open plan house with a GREAT view of the mountains. The property is very private, even though it is surrounded by other houses. It is situated quite near a river and shrubs obscures the view of other guests. The interior was done in an organic style. the house is light and very modern and the 4 bedrooms has double beds. The kitchen forms part of the living area, but there is a scullery to stack away dishes if needed. The staff is local and very pleasing and proud of the accommodation property they have to look after.

The house is owned by three couples which lives in the Free State, but are passionate to make this guest house a great experience and to see to the need of every guest. We all love travelling and especially into Africa. We are all bird watchers and love nature. Please feel free to contact me, Lizette or Louise at any time if you need help with things to do in the area or if you have problem with the house.

The Drakensberg is a pristine area. This mountanise area is avery popular destination. It is an off the beaten track destination, tranquil, quite and a place to rest your soul. The lake with canoes, walks in the mountains, horse riding adventures and interesting little restaurants all contributes to make this a holiday to remember.
