Tremezzo was a great location to use as a base to enjoy the more famous towns nearby. Staying here meant that we were out of the hustle and bustle when we came back to the hotel. It was possible to find free parking near the ferry stop. In this area, when the parking spot lines are white--the parking is free. When they are blue--one must pay and often has a time limit.

Tremezzo is a perfect gateway for a city escape.
Tremezzo is a perfect gateway for a city escape. We drove around the entire lake and realized that Tremezzo’s view is indeed the most impeccable while the convenience is still there. Compare to other small towns alongside lake Como, Tremezzo is in connection with nearby towns that has more than enough stores for shopping, groceries, laundromat, banks, eatery, and views (Tremezzo too has sufficient stores that support a longer holidays). I do recommend driving here.

If you are on foot, this is perfect.
If you are on foot, this is perfect. If you are looking for a base to explore the area by car this is a disaster as there is no parking but then again I dont think there is anything in Lake Como that is not 10x more expensive that comes with free parking. You are better off going to Lake Garda or Maggiore

A beautiful place on the lake with bus and ferry stops and a lovely local park, ideal for picnics and swimming in the amazing lake. There are restaurants and bars nearby and the Villa Carlotta is well worth a visit. Tremezzo is a great base to explore Como.

Stunning landscape.
Stunning landscape. Absolutely beautiful, but I hated driving around Tremezzo and Lake Como, I would stick to the speed limits and locals would overtake on blind bends. Very stressful. Some excellent food, expensive but worth it, but a lot more occasions poor food overpriced. And my life! there were some very unkempt toilets even in expensive restaurants. Shocking.

Tremezzo is the perfect place to stay on Lake Como for those who want easy access (via ferry) to the most popular destinations, but want to be away from the crowds. The Lake Como Greenway path runs right through town and provides walking access to nearby towns along the west side of the lake including Lenno, where the wedding scene from the Star Wars prequel was filmed. There are several great restaurants in the area, ranging from fairly casual to fine dining.
the property is in a beautiful location with the best views looking over Lake Como from Tremezzo. It is beautifully furnished and uses quality linen. Our hosts Alessandro and Lina are just the nicest people and nothing was too much trouble for them to help you out with either restaurant recommendations and bookings, information about the town and lake Como to picking us up in Como and taking us to the villa. Breakfast every morning was homemade delicacies from Lina and her sister and we wished we could if stayed longer!!
What a gem of a find. It's like being invited into a classy family home. The rooms are traditional and spacious, the hotel is immaculately clean, the food and wine is right up there and the views - an uninterrupted panorama stretching from the lower reaches of lake Como, past beautiful Bellagio opposite and on towards the dramatic alpine peaks in the north. Standing in complete serenity in the hotel's beautiful garden, you can listen to the gentle tolling of church bells ringing out across the lake. It is heaven.
Here you will feel like a guest of your loving italian family. Mario takes care of you, before arriving and after as well. (E.g. He organised us a VERY FINE typical local italian restaurant, mmm...) The flat is very clean, well equipped (elevator, full equipped kitchen, dishwasher, steam-iron, washing machine, basic cooking ingredients etc.) It was our first time booking a private host and not a hotel, and it was worth it. We will definitely return ASAP. So will you...
Although Tremezzo is a small location compared to some other Lake Como towns, it was a perfect spot for sightseeing the middle of the lake at very reasonable price. The ferry is directly outside of the hotel and never really busy like other locations on the lake. The lake view from our balcony was great and the hotel staff were really helpful. Our room was always cleaned well and for the middle of July in the heat, the aircon worked a treat :)
The views were exceptional from the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were extremely friendly.
The owners husband gave us a lift to the train station as we had missed the earlier boat and we stupidly forgot our passports, the owners husband came back to pick us up from the station and the staff organised for a taxi to meet us on the way as we were under time constraint. Couldn't have been more helpful.
Beautiful B&B with gorgeous rooms in restored house in the middle of Tremezzo. Our room was spacious with a queen bed and a big sofa bed for our two kids. The breakfast was delicious, with breads, croissants, eggs and even pancakes for the kids. We would stay here again any day.
Beautiful small family owmed hotel in Tremezzo. We met the whole family! Loved the whole family as well as much as their hotel. The view is amazing. The service and the food is amazing! Wish we stayed in Como longer. We just stayed 2 nights. We will definitely stay here again!.
Stunning hotel! A true treasure on the coast of Lake Como. All aspects of the hotel epitomized luxury and comfort. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable and the view on the lake from the room balcony takes your breath away.
The entire hotel was beautiful! The owner marina is so accommodating and so sweet! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the rooms were well equipped, clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. Thanks for an awesome stay!
What an absolute gem Casa Aquadulza is. Our room was spacious, clean. Great shower. Excellent view from room no 1. Very comfy bed. Host was very friendly. Got us an iron after we asked. Eating in the restaurant is a must 👌🏻
Mario was the greatest host, gave us very good tips to visit around the area, and supported us to get a reservation in a very nice restaurant.
The apartment had everything we needed, and the pool was great for the kids.
Wonderful service, very friendly staff. Beautiful lake view and comfortable beds & rooms. The hotel is situated on a steep hill. There is a (small) swimming pool. Tremezzo is a good so=pot to start exploring Como lake.
Wonderful, friendly staff. Great central location with easy access to walkable shops and restaurants in Tremezzo, as well as a short walk to the ferry port for access to Bellagio, Varenna, etc.
Clean, modern, quiet area, fully kitted kitchen, a washing machine, spacious with beautiful views, a balcony, parking, close to local restaurants, the supermarket and other attractions
This family owned hotel is very pleasant and accommodating! Loved the location on the lake! Food at the restaurant was excellent! Kudos to chef Marcelo!
