I stayed in Canggu far too long, but that was because my friends were there. It is a lot of fun to party at Old Mans and Sandbar but beware I got my phone pick pocked at the bar next to Mexicola - it's now in Jakarta! Also that area at night has a taxi mafia so if you're looking to get a grab scooter you'll have to walk a ways away from old mans. I feel bad because I didn't understand this and canceled my grab scooter thinking they just didn't want to pick me up in the location I set. We liked our first stay in Canggu (Mar 25). Transport around was plentiful. We enjoyed Finns Beach Club & were on the free shuttle route with the stop being right outside our hotel. There’s everything you could ever want, from amazing restaurants and bars to trendy nightclubs and shopping spots. And don’t even get me started on the spas! Only go there if you're 20 something and into night clubs. There's almost no local food, only expensive western restaurants and bars and club.
