Back to Nature is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature.
Aca Alamsyah, the host of Back to Nature, is a passionate wildlife guide and guard. Born in 1966 in Medan, Indonesia, he grew up in a privileged environment and received a good education. However, his love for the outdoors led him to drop out of law school and become a volunteer at the Rehabilitation Centre for Urang Utans in Bukit Lawang. He quickly fell in love with the jungle and its inhabitants, and he has been working as a wildlife guide and guard in the Leuser National Park ever since. Aca's knowledge of the rainforest is vast, and he is passionate about sharing his love of nature with others. He is a skilled guide who can take you on safe and enjoyable excursions into the jungle. He is also a great cook, and he loves to share traditional Indonesian cuisine with his guests.
Back to Nature is a genuine jungle retreat full of peace and relaxation, inmidst beautiful, lush nature with lots of fresh air. It is a place away from the "hustle and bustle" of the world and all the troubles that come with it. If you are planning a personal time-out from your busy life to calm your mind and nourish your soul, practice meditation or yoga, or you want to enjoy pure nature and wildlife, try jungle trekking or traditional tube rafting, our guesthouse will be the perfect choice for you.
