I stayed at Uluwatu for 2 weeks in 2 different hotels. If I could plan my trip again, I would have moved around a bit more. I stayed at Bingin beach for 7 nights, which with hindsight was far too long, 3 days would have been enough, unless you're a surfer. Sal Secret was the second hotel and near to quite a few restaurants We visited Uluwatu Temple, watch out for the monkeys! We watched the Fire Dance at the Temple which was fantastic. Uluwatu can be quite busy. Do research on Uluwatu and places of interest before you go.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

Not a party place, better for couples or family. Plenty of things to do but need to get transport to most. Has 2 good mini marts close by, (but no pavements). One of them sells alcohol. Temple and fire show well worth a visit, book a ticket a few days ahead because often sold out. Watch out for the monkeys, they’re quite aggressive and steal anything, even the glasses off your face and break them! Beaches nice but very steep cliff to descend ascend, so beware!

It was second time we stayed in Le grande Bali. Experience was good, excellent customer service, staff well prepared ready to help, friendly and professional. Breakfast is good but could be a bit better. We had this experience the day we left and Putu the person that were at service that morning were like an angel. We checked out on 23/3 at 4:30am and the driver we booked to drive ud to the airport did not show up. Putu realized my partner and I were desperate and had this great idea to drive us to the airport and we did not miss our flights. Five stars to him!!! Thank you, AudreyAudreyAustralia - 8.0Scored 8.0

They are situated in a good location and easy to reach the centre of Uluwatu by foot (10 min walk) or a motorbike or a car. The closest beach where you can spend time near the ocean not so far but you can climb 100 steps down and up when you return. For me is easy but you just to know about it. To the other beach, you can go by car or motorbike but it's the usual way and the most common in Bali.
