Is located at a walk away from the Moinhos beach in Porto Formoso, a unique little piece of earth on the Atlantic, somewhere between Europe and America, on the island of São Miguel. The vivenda is a complete furnished holiday home that makes it possible for you, to bring only your personal things, and where you will relax thanks to all the comfort and the privacy. On this breathtaking beautiful, unforgettable spot you enjoy in the winter a comfortable living room with hearth. In the summer the joy of the wonderful see and mountain view from the balcony. In the spring your certainly will enjoy both: The sunny terrace and the crackling fire during the romantic evenings. This atmosphere will certainly be even more romantic thanks to the whistling of the many birds, the nearest waterfall and the always present Atlantic ocean. Having a capacity for at least 4 persons the vivenda offers you and your family or your friends enough room to enjoy a unforgettable holiday.
I own this unic spot with wonderful views we my wife Rosina but as the manager of our holiday home I will have the pleasure to be your contact host. I do like to observe, makes me forming ideas about people, animals and things in life. I do like teaching because it passes on the little I know to the one he wants to know what I know. I like to write lyrics for songs to be sung and offered to those who may enjoy them. I like to sleep because mostly is always good to dream. I love the Azores because they offer a divine beauty, this spot of the world embrace me with their nature, and surprise me with his different way of standing. I like good wine, because I am son of Earth, like football even still do not knowing why. The sun because it makes me warm, I love a good joke to wake up or drive away the melancholy or the routine. The well being of my guests concerns me, I feel good sharing with others our little corner planted by the sea.
Vivenda Xavier is situated at the little fisherman village named Porto Formoso, (the marvellous port). Just about 3 minutes from the vivenda you'l find is the local beach Praia dos Moinhos. A very particular small beach with outstanding sanitary facilities. Not far away you may enjoy a good cup of tea at Chá de Porto Formoso. One of the two old family business in Europe involved in tea production. This, all fashioned with the little fisherman port and the local church from 1509, turns this little place into a unique spot in Europe. The inhabitants make their living today predominantly from agriculture, cattle breeding, and fishing.
