Great location in a cute town, easy to tour the surrounding area and close to the downtown historic center as well as a grocery store. Hotel had bikes and e-bikes for rent, which was an appreciated convenience. Good restaurant and wine selection, including decent half bottles, nice to split sitting in the hotel’s patio at the end of the day. Huge bathroom with good shower.

service tray wasn't up to standard paper cups mean tea bags (into paper cups)Yuk? gentleman on reception very helpful thanks to this gentleman bag tea exchanged for b/tea ,breakfast room although large was so crowded not very organised sloppy cerial 1 of no choice sadly could have been better organised people running everywhere no routine selection average of b/food sadly we hated writing up this over/all of this beautifully placed hotel and free parking as standard paying what we paid was far from reasonable 170euro's 1 nite sadly wont stay there again but to those whom helped whist we were in there care E.G. gentleman helpful and nice attitude james williams.thanks to all concerned

Beautiful town with the town centre being easily accessible...
Beautiful town with the town centre being easily accessible by foot from the hotel within 5 minutes. Woerden has a lot of history with Roman artefacts being found in the town centre. I would have like to have seen more of the places to visit, the Castle, Churches, Stadhouse/Museum, Jewish Monument have more information in English displayed. There was information in Nederlandse but sadly I could not read it.

A town with a lot of history.
A town with a lot of history. A great place to spend a few days, great restaurants all around. Some shops nearby and a lovely walk around what once the defence moat which surrounds the town. Google earth it before you visit.

Beautiful dutch village with plenty of shopping and restaurants. In addition, this town also has it's own windmill and castle (all within walking distance). We found this to be a good home base since our plans were to drive to Delft, Keukenhof, Gouda and Kinderdijk. We didn't want to go from hotel-to-hotel. All of those city's/locations were only within an hour drive. Which worked perfectly for us. When we returned back to the hotel, we went for walks through the village. There are sheep and some chickens around and birds singing. Wonderful quiet authentic holiday experience. House has everything you need for a family vacation. With the car we were able to reach half of Holland within 1 hour: tons of things to do. Woerden's city center is around 3 km by feet in the wonderful surroundings.AllaGermany

Sunday was free parking in all Woerden. The breakfast was great as were the lunch, dinner and snack options. The bed is huge and the pillows are thr best. We just felt that they all care about us when we were in the hotel, like they know us.

The location is excellent and downtown Woerden an easy 5 minute walk away. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean.
