The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained, very clean and staff is very helpful. We had dinner buffet and it was really worth it. The managers was very friendly and helpful. Each staff member was friendly and not once was I disappointed. I am a very fussy person but I had no complains this weekend. Really good job to the staff of The Capetonian. Lots to see and do: trip to Robben Island, V & A Waterfront and the seals, Table Mountain, Trip to wineries. The Citybus is very cheap, though you need to pre-load a card available from some pharmacies and other outlets. The cable-car up Table Mountain is very weather dependant. We went to the cable-car on a lovely clear day but the cable-car was closed due to wind. We booked in advance for a few days later. The cable-car was working but we went into a cloud/rain and saw nothing! Thought 3rd time lucky and on a very sunny day we tried again. Closed due to wind, but our ticket money was refunded. There are security guards everywhere in town which helps to make you feel safe, but it's sensible not to have expensive watches or jewellery visible.OxfordWUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
