Friendly host speaks only Italian, (which I do) and is a delight. Dark wood floor and dark walls also keep the room dark in daylight hours. Odd colored lights in addition to normal lights are interesting. Hand-woven Oriental carpets on the wood floor and original artwork scattered here and there are a plus. The oversized shower stall complete with rain shower ceiling fixture was a real pleasure.
Hotel Ai Dogi is in the central square of Palmanova just 164 feet from the Cathedral. Rooms offer plasma-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi, and some have views of the square.

Lovely small hotel in a perfect location in this UNESCO Heritage town! Our ground floor room was really big, king bed, walk in closet, huge new bathroom with great modern shower and facilities. The welcoming staff spoke English fluently, told us about the town and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly! The hotel has easy free parking which is very unusual in an Italian old city center! The location on the central piazza next to the church is perfect! We heartily recommend this lovely little hotel!

The location is absolutely beautiful! The room was lovely and the view spectacular. Monica at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was more than you could want. I highly recommend this place. It exceeded our expectations!

The room was really comfortable and big, bathroom as well, it met all of our expectations
