We stayed at Hotel Gallia for a base for cycling in the area. A garage for storage of bicycles was provided so we didn't have to haul them up to the room. The hotel is right alongside the Stelvio pass road, but the windows and wall provided sufficient sound deadening and it wasn't an issue. The hotel provided excellent breakfast and dinners, a nice perk for this remote location.

Rooms at the Gallia are equipped with an LCD TV and a bathroom with shower. A breakfast buffet with cold cuts, homemade sweets and croissants, but also egg dishes, is served each morning. South Tyrol recipes and Mediterranean dishes can be enjoyed in the restaurant. The hotel is an ideal starting point for hiking, motorcycling and cycling. The ski areas of Solda and Trafoi are respectively 10 and 2.5 mi away. The Stelvio mountain pass is 11 mi from this property.
