Detroit is a beautiful place to visit.
Detroit is a beautiful place to visit. Most people are relatively friendly. I had no problems, other than the place that I stayed. They had mice and it was a dead mouse in the sink on the second day. The person managing the property came in while I wasn't there. I couldn't cook my Thanksgiving dinner because there was no dining table. So my family had to eat with our plates in our laps. I was told to give a good review and they would give me back half of my money. They lied! I have text messages and pictures.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be. There is a lot to do around the city. With the Q-line and the people mover being a mode of free transportation, it is much easier to get around if you can park just outside of the downtown areaJoAnneUnited States of America

Woodward Avenue is in the middle of so much and you can take the Q line trolley from the hotel to the Detroit Institute of Art and many other spots to visit. Also, we got in very late on a Thursday and the hotel has 24-hour room services. We were really hungry, and it was great to be able to order food to our room!

The kitchen had everything I needed and the whole place was clean. The staff was always there and friendly. The location is great and very centered, you can have a couple of small supermarkets reachable by foot as well as some main shops. Great value for money, I will definitely look into those rooms if I come back to Detroit
