The friendliness and efficiency of the staff was excellent both at reception and in dining area. We'll be very happy to book IBIS on our next trip to Muenchen. The closeness of the U-Bahn station is especially helpful.

I arrived when Garching bei Munchen was celebrating Burge Woche. What could be more fun than Bavarian food everywhere and lots of local beer, not to mention the music and the booths selling everything.
Yes, I have lived in Garching bei Munchen for 6 months and worked at the Technical University of Munich when I was there, so I might be biased in having enjoyed myself in the many restaurants, at the concerts and at the beer garden that is just outside Garching, but, in general, as a small town, it is worth a visit, if only for the strawberry picking or a picnic along the Isar.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is of good quality, diverse and the coffee very good!
The room is not very big but modern and nicely furnished. There is also a mini kitchen with an electric stove, hood, microwave where you can heat food and a refrigerator. There is also a safe. Everything works perfectly. It is actually a small apartment.
The bed has a comfortable mattress. As well as the pillows. The hotel is quiet so you can rest after a long flight. It is close to Munich airport about 10-15 km.
I like everything about the hotel, especially the location, as I was watching football at the Allianz Arena which is just one stop away on the train.
I also, enjoyed the comfort the rooms especially the exceptionally huge bath and the the room in general.
The breakfast was great, and the time for the breakfast from start to finish fits perfectly within my schedule.
Also, importantly there is huge shop just adjacent the hotel for your shopping needs without going too far from the hotel.
We booked the facility with the discount for one-night stay, and everything was super good. It is located not in Munich, but in a suberb. We were tired and did not have a lot of time before our meeting in the center of Munich - we called Uber. The taxi arrived quickly, the drive was not too long and reasonably priced. There is no ultimate need to call the taxi to go to Munich though - direct metro line to the city center is in short walking distance from the hotel.
I always stay at Hotel Hoyacker Hof when I visit Munich. It is one of my favorite hotels. I love the architecture. Every room is exquisite as is the dining hall. The breakfast is wonderful (I always invite a colleague for breakfast). It reminds me of the best part of my stay in Garching bei München when I was a visiting faculty member at TUM 15 years ago. I will be there again, soon.
Appears to be a family-run hotel + restaurant, everyone was courteous both on the hotel and the restaurant side. Room was clean and bathroom was quite spacious. The hotel has a parking area at the back foe the customers. Good portion sizes at the restaurant, and what was served was like in the pictures. I'm giving it a 9 as everything was as expected.
Everything was as I expected, even better. It's a great option for a sustainable traveller and I appreciated it a lot! Everything you need is there to sleep, cook, clean and work. It's the first time I've experienced such a place and really liked it! Also a plus for the small hotel shop - it was very handy when late night snacking mode struck!
The hotel staff was very welcoming and informative.
The rooms look very nice, the beds are quite comfortable and the bathroom was big and has everything one will need.
We were able to open the windows and even though the room was by the street, it wasn't loud.
WiFi was stable so it was possible for me to work from there
Very good location, U6-bahn station is only 3 minutes what is the best public trasport to travell into Allianz Arena or to downtown of Münich. Despite the busy traffic junction, it is a quiet neighborhood, nothing disturbed us at night. The beergarten of the hotel is fantastic. Traditional foods and beer!
The staff were always friendly/supportive and the rooms on both occasions were perfectly suited to my needs. The breakfasts were amazing! The hotel is ideally suited near the centre of what is a very friendly, university town and with easy access to the U-Bahn.
great location next to the s bahn, always nice area for a drink in the evening and then breakfast is always great at Motel Ones. Room was very comfortable and there was free parking on the street available for free when I arrived late at night.
We searched a hotel to stay over one night on our way to Italy. We where possitively surprised with the hotel! It has good beds, a (simple) kitchen and it's clean. We plan to come back when we need a hotel to stay over close to München!
Under-hotel garage ensured car was kept cool, and there were plenty of car parking spaces available. Quiet hotel. Small rooms. Tiny pod-style bathroom. But it served its purpose as an overnight 'no frills' stay prior to flying home.
We ended up by accudent due to flight cancellation. We had a large room with kitchenette. Well equiped. Staff was lovely especially hotel manager who was so nice and helped us with almost everything.
