Extremely helpful and kind hosts. The place is really pet-friendly and so are the owners and patrons. We had dinner and lunch at the restaurant and the lechazo was exquisite. Perfect location to visit Silos, Desfiladero de Yecla and Sad Hill Cemetery. We are very grateful to them for making our stay so pleasant.

The hotel is in a very small Spanish town. We were able to drive up to the hotel, take our luggage out of the car, and then go back to the entrance of the town and park in the parking lot (free) overnight. From the parking lot it is about a three minute walk to the hotel.
The best thing about the hotel was that their kitchen opened for dinner (at 8:15 pm). We tried a few other places in town (online said they were open) but they were not open. We had lamb and it was great. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beds fine, head pillows hard. Breakfast was basic (and cost $7 per person); pastries, juice, coffee, yogurt, toast.
Great place to stay, would recommend!
This comfortable and pleasant hotel is set by the banks of the River Arlanza, 0.6 mi from the center of Lerma. It offers a traditional restaurant and comfortable, heated rooms with free Wi-Fi.

A typical rural Spanish hotel set in an interesting historical village. We used this as an overnight stop on the way to the ferry. 2 hours from Bilbao was just right. Very friendly. Covarrubias was just passed Lerma and we stopped there in the morning on our way out.
Fantastic family run hotel in a beautiful village, Carmen was a wonderful host, hotel is everything as described, so relaxing in the garden, delicious breakfast, really great value for money. By far the best accomodation in our 2 week holiday through France and spain. The village itself is a shot walk and a delight with history and a few nice bars/restaurants. I highly recommended this hotel and will surely come back one day
Very motivated couple runs this hotel in the heart of Covarrubias. In the village it was very quiet on a Monday in late November. We did not see any other guests in the hotel either. Owner is a pleasant man who can give you useful tips for your stay. There is free parking outside the village within walking distance.
Covarrubia is Spain's most perfect medieval village. This Hotel is in the centre and in character. The owner is a delightful man who takes pride in his work. The breakfast is outstanding. When we left he gave us a bottle of the local wine. We will be back to this Hotel. Our 5th visit to the town.
Friendly and attentive host, hotel on edge of town with attractive interior and garden. Only 5 minutes walk from village center with restaurants and bars and wonderful old 17th century buildings. Self service coffee etc in reception area at no extra charge
The interior design of the hotel/room we stayed in was absolutely stunning. The bathrooms was very nice and spacious. We also had breakfast there and the selection of available foods was quite nice and tasty.
We loved the room , the bathroom and the treatment from the owner. We have been very well received and given tips on what to visit and where to eat. The hotel gives you a homely yet luxurious feel.
