I loved the town. It is a chance to see the real Morocco.
I loved the town. It is a chance to see the real Morocco. The people are genuinely friendly. The beach is beautiful. We had dinner in Snack El Bahri. A very nice seafood dinner for two with beverages for 15 dollars US. The town is lively and felt extremely safe. I want to return . .

Super Town with a buzzing vibe.
Super Town with a buzzing vibe.
We ate delicious lefts in the main square at the end of the souk. Pomegranate juice is my new favourite drink.
The fish market is clean and efficient with a grill restaurant above. What’s not to like?
The massive industrial plant to the south gave us some concerns in terms of pollution.

I went on a tour north along the Atlantic coast of Morocco. From Agadir in the south to Tangier in the north.
The land route was 900 km. I did not make a stopover in Rabat.
Agadir is a clean and neat city. Agadir was the most European-like city that I came to in Morocco.
If you want it to be a little more exotic, then El Jadida is an excellent place. El Jadida has all kinds of styles. The typical classic Morocco. The French colonial style. The old Portuguese medina-like style, as well as the modern Moroccan style.
Casablanca and Tangier are clean modern big cities.
I think Essaouira is a little over advertised. Essaouira has a large medina which is a tourist attraction. Safi was a paltry town not worth visiting.

Definitely not ready for simple tourists, which sometimes can be a plus. But the entire citadel is running down, and the cisterns were closed because they collapsed. The city doesn't have the same feeling as other cities in Morocco - Azemmour, 10 minutes distance, has much more vibe.
I loved this place this time in December more than the last time I came in summer. And I did not think it was possible to love it anymore. Views and the designs are so breathtaking.
I took a hotel room and the apartment. Both exceeded my expectations.
The staff are super friendly, especially the manager Mohamed El Haddad. Top guy and always made sure he was available for me. He is doing a great job.
His staff Ayoub and Fatima also made me feel very welcome.
Would definitely come here again and again
Very comfortable room and lovely rooftop terrace for sitting out. The riad is close to the historic Portuguese City. Asmaa was very helpful and advised on how to get from the railway station - by a shared petit taxi costing only 15 dirham. I was greeted with a pot of mint tea, biscuits and dates on the rooftop terrace. Also, the breakfast was the best I had during 2 weeks travelling around Morocco, including fruit, pastries and eggs.
the hotel is in a very good location, cleanliness is in the first place, daily cleaning and towel change, the staff is very kind and helpful, our room has a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean, the hotel is very close to the beach, also had a good restaurant, but a little further from the hotel there is a restaurant called IL CUCINA Restaurant & Grillade, which I recommend to try.

we stayed at the Riad Siham on the last night of our three week trip to Morocco and it was an excellent choice. I wish we had scheduled an extra night to explore the town more fully as there is a lot to explore there. The Riad is beautiful. our room had a patio. Breakfast included everything one could wish for. Siham was a wonderful hostess.
Abdullah is a great person. Room was big enough, clean and cozy. Kitchen is a great opportunity, most places at this price range most probably do not provide. I feel lucky, thanks to booking.com rewievers. If I need to stay at El Jadida again Villa Aboulanwar is going to be my first choice: Affordable and meets the requirements. Bon voyage.
The facility -it's beautiful. We upgraded the 2nd night and it was a completely amazing experience. The food was great, especially breakfast (best breakfast during our 9 day tour of Morocco). Slept great in the Suite Berber (ground floor) as it was spacious, luxurious and bed very comfortable. The manager was very nice and helpful.
Great appartment, very comfortable and cosy. We were there only one night, but we enjoy it. The host, Mustafa give us very useful information about the place and recommendation what to visit. He is native speak english so it was much easier for us. Next time we stop to El Jadida we will come back to Dar ziane.
Location is great. Nice breakfast. Good decoration, local elements with a modern touch. Specious rooms. Terrace on top and the common saloon in the enterence are good.
We had to make a phone call and we didn't have a Moroccon line and they were very helpful about that.
The property is in a great location. It is secure. The place is clean and there is plenty of space for the family.it is close to the beach and it is easy to get to.
The people in charge are very nice and accommodating.
I would definitely recommend this place.
It is a beautiful Riad in the wonderful city of El Jadida. What a welcome change from the madness of Marrakesh. The staff were exemplary. The room was very romantic. The breakfast was the best one we had in Morocco. This place made me want to return .
Amazing hotel with huge beach front that was mainly empty with only the sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. Hotel room was nice, comfortable bed, good customer service from all staff we interacted with and decent breakfast and dinner in Resturant.
The room was good given the price and the location was even better. Staff members were kind, active and communicative. I will definitely book another stay whenever I plan to visit El Jadida in the future.
- Staff were excellent, extremely friendly and helpful
- Room was excellent (we stayed in the tent) and it was the best nights sleep we’ve had in morocco.
- Beautiful view
I absolutely adored Dar Aboulanwar, it was such a peaceful retreat and the hosts/staff were so kind and friendly! I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in El Jadida.
