very well kept, clean and tidy. nice view. extremely diligent and caring owners who offer great food and are very kind and considerate of guests. we don’t eat meat so they were able to offer alternatives with no hassle and our meals were delicious. very Covid
aware and careful, which made us feel secure. big tent for all meals to avoid indoor spaces. we really appreciated that. the owners are wonderful, authentic people. our Italian is terrible but even a little English was much appreciated.

The views from this hotel were amazing!
It’s worth a visit just for that!
The town is small but interesting.
Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating.
We travelled with a small dog and they set up a table just outside the breakfast room for us. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. It was everything we could have hoped for.

We had a very good meal in the hotel on our first night but
for the next three nights enjoyed the food in La Bottega del Villaggio.

Such a lovely small town, history and culture are everywhere...
Such a lovely small town, history and culture are everywhere and make you feel deeply immersed in the lives of those long gone. Casa Leopardi is spectacular and the library was a dream come true, if you've ever experienced the magic of Leopardi's poetry (and if you haven't DO!) seeing the places that helped bring it forward will move and enrich you.
Experiential, pleasant vacation. Welcoming owners who take care of the olive family farm and very warmly also of the guests. They can prepare you an excellent tasting dinner of local dishes (good wine) and bake a variety of sweet cakes for breakfast. You feel very comfortable here and the village environment gives you a very relaxing impression. You can visit the surrounding historic smaller towns or drive to Ancona. You are close (about 20 km) to the Riviera with nice beaches.
I write in English so that as many people as possible can read and thus encourage them to come to this beautiful city of Recanati, the city of one of the greatest European poets, and especially to come
at Il Viandante to enjoy a beautiful room with a terrace where one feels good and to take advantage of the welcome, kindness and availability of the prorietaires the father, mother and son. A big thank you to them. we start from Il Viandante we only want to come back!
This lovely little apartment in the heart of Recanati is spacious and beautifully decorated, with a broad view over a green valley to the sea. Everything works well and it is easy to find. I sleep well, cooked some meals, did laundry, did some work on the internet — all very convenient. Most of all, Sonia, the owner is the best host! She is fun and enthusiastic, super welcoming, and so helpful with any questions you might have.
We arrived as the sun was setting and were offerred a delicious dinner. Breakfast by the olive tree the next morning was also memorable. If you are looking for a country like setting - this is it! Not far from Recanati it was fairly easy to find. Very rustic - don’t expect deluxe accommodations. Rooms were simple yet comfortable.
Very peaceful place with a beautiful view of the hills facing Conero. The owner is always available for any need. The nearest beaches (Porto Recanati, Sirolo, Numana) are within a 15-20 minute drive. Portonovo is 30 minutes away. The climate is very cool and breezy during the day and night.
Modern facility with access to public parking for guests across the street. Nice room, small with balcony. Pleasant community breakfast room with sweet breakfast. All rooms were on the top floor. Interesting trip into Recanati with an arts focused market. Nice staff. Good WiFi and A/C.
Great apartment for a perfect stay in beautiful Recanati. Well equipped, good size and very clean.. great view from the roof terrace.
Communication was fast, friendly and helpful.
Met by the host on arrival and received a guided tour of the apartment.
traditional Italy style place, parking is easy and free on the side of the place. one minute walk from the parking and breakfast place is near the place, two minutes walk. people are very friendly and nice, they will help you out all the time.
+ It's simple, but good. :)
+ very clean rooms, very nice people work there
+ Sirolo is 20 minutes away by car
+ breakfast: you can choose between some things, coffee is good :)
+ own parking lot
+ lots of space to store the luggage
Great location and friendly welcome. The accommodation was warm and comfortable, it had everything we needed. We especially loved the terrace, a very peaceful place to sit and have a coffee.
Me and my family LOVED the property. The room was very nice and Leopardi’s themed. The food at the restaurant was pretty good and the breakfast is complete with both sweet and sour things.
There was no breakfast provided. Italy does not do colazione. There were plenty of places to have breakfast after 8 in the morning and all within easy walking distance.
