Very convenient - could come and go as i pleased. Room spacious with cooking facilities and sink. Bed v comfy. Nice balcony with view. Good shower. Some nice welcome gifts inc a small bottle of wine.
Best bit was being woken by the cockerels, geese and the bells on the sheep. (may not be appreciated by everyone!)

Katelios is a very quiet, relaxed and friendly place. The swimming is safe and there are sunbeds and beach umbrellas. There are a number of restaurants along the sea front so you are spoilt for choice - one for each day of the week! Would highly recommend it.Debra - 8.0Scored 8.0

A very peaceful location close to the town of Katelios where there are many bars and restaurants. The Hotel only has five rooms so plenty of space for everyone around the large pool. This is perfect for a relaxing holiday however if you want to travel around the island it is best to hire a car. Katelios is a small fishing village.
Katelios is a small fishing village. We got a taxi from the airport to our accommodation for 50 Euro. There are a couple of small supermarkets, and plenty of restaurants and bars. We had previously stayed in katelios, but our accomodation was a long walk to the beach. This year we stayed in The Medusa, which is just a few steps to the beach and restaurants. If you want somewhere quiet to relax and unwind Katelios would be ideal. If you want the shops there is a bus at 11am to Skala, it returns at 16.00pm. Over the two years we have stayed in Katelios we have found all the restaurants have served good food and very friendly.StephanieUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Nice small village, right on the sea, nice choice of restaurants, good food. nice as a base to see other areas on southern part of Island and nice to be there for the evenings and to relax and walk to restaurants and bars. Great to sit in restaurants next to the beach/sea to eat at night, very relaxed atmosphere , nice staff in all restaurants we visited. Our small hotel was lovely and we enjoyed swimming in the sea each day after our travels and before breakfast. Busy enough but not crowded. All in all lovely relaxing break.MaureenUnited Kingdom

The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. There are 4 balconies to appreciate the beautiful views and ability to choose sun/shade. Panagis was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after, even ensuring we were picked up from Argostoli, where we were staying for a few days before going to Katelios. Typical Greek style but modern throughout. Alexis and his family couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast each day on the balcony overlooking the gardens and sea was a bonus! Great variety and big portions. We booked last minute so, due to availability, stayed half the week here and half the week elsewhere in Katelios and Alexis brought our luggage around! The locality to the centre of town is only a short walk away and the hotel is ideally placed for a quiet, relaxing stay with a few restaurants/tavernas not far away. The apartments were clean, modern and comfortable and had everything we needed. The accommodation has a bar with great food and selection of drinks which were very reasonable. We came for a relaxing time and this was ideal! Highly recommended!

The room was spacious and well equiped. Chris, the owner, was a very nice host - very kind, helpful and professional. I recommend this hotel if you visit Kefalonia. And even Katelios is indeed a bit far from the main attractions on the island, we really enjoyed our rides to various places. For us, Aligis will certainly be a an option on our next visit to this beautiful island
