We stayed in Mushroom Bay, Nusa Lembongan for 3 days which felt like the right amount of time to explore. It was sandwiched in between 6 days in Ubud so we wanted to swim, snorkel and paddle board. We managed all three. It has a very laid back vibe - some good little cafes but some relatively overpriced places too. We stayed 5 nights which was probably enough time. ISLAND IS BUSY but I preferred to Bali which is now really touristy. If I lived in Australia (we are UK) I would definitely come again to get some amazing weather. It was a long way for us so I don't think we'd return. Great for young people. Now we are a bit older we do prefer quieter places. It reminded us a bit of Mykonos in Greece (Sandy Bay - chilled vibe/good food/sunsets). The people are so lovely but very poor. We loved our adventure & very glad we came but we wouldn't return due to how busy it was x

Nusa Lembongan and Ceningan Island were absolute highlight of our trip. Wish we had stayed longer and will 100% book 4+ days on next trip. Beaches are stunning and there are some great little beach clubs.

This island is one of our favourite spots to visit in Bali.
This island is one of our favourite spots to visit in Bali. We just love the islands laidback living style vibe and hospitality. We’ve scootered all around the island and over the yellow suspension bridge to chenigan and the little market stalls. Visit Mangrove beach - its old school village vibe is cool and if you get to snorkel around the cliff edges of Nusa Penida, it’s teaming with tropical fish and coral - must see. Surf also good at shipwrecks. Check out the seaweed farming too.

Lembongan is relaxing. Devil's Tear is really great. Dhipa's Warung near there is good affordable food. Renting a motorbike is relatively easy but many of them do not come with helmets, and most of the people you see driving do not wear them. Some of the roads are really bad quality.

We were assisted with transfers to/from Bali, and Fuad and Ketut looked after all our enquiries during our stay. The villa itself is stunning, beautifully appointed and contained all we needed. It is a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Fuad even assisted with restaurant recommendations for when we returned to Bali. Four nights was not enough, and we will be back to the island in the future.

It is a small and quite place, with a peacefull garden and nice pool. Ketut and his family are very friendly and help you with all your questions (snorkel tour, motorbikes, nice restaurants). Very close to Mushroom Bay, where you will arrive with the fast boat. Tip: take the shortcut from this beach next to Mola Mola, it saves you time. We had a lovely stay here.
