This is the perfect stay in Tuscany!! The staff were super friendly and explained everything from the food and the region to us. They made us feel very welcome and truly part of their family. The breakfast was amazing!! Lorenzo is an amazing chef. I would recommend this place to everyone! The room was beautiful. You really feel like you travel back in time staying at this beautiful villa.

This accommodation is a beautiful home with luxurious, unique rooms. There are expansive grounds, well appointed rooms, welcoming common areas to sit. The rain shower is lovely and the coffee maker and tea kettle in the room was a bonus. Staff is very kind and helpful for any recommendations for local attractions (winery visits) or to assist with dinner reservations. Breakfast has something for everyone!

We liked everything. The welcoming, the traveling tips from the staff, the conversations with Francesco and the other staff members.
It's a small place and with a charming early spring atmosphere and large and com comfortable room, made our 4 nights stay very special.

Perfect!!! Our stay was no less than amazing. The hosts, Amy & Massimo made us feel at home from the very first moment, spoiled us and knew what we need before we could ask. Amy's cuisine, yummy... "They ARE the place", says Fillipo, the owner, who was there every day and made sure we have the best local experience with vineyard and restaurant reservations and pointers to spots in the area.
The room is super clean, maitained daily, the place is isolated from the town, very green, lots of nature and pool was open even in April.
Thanks a lot. We will definitely come again when in Tuscany.

We stayed in an apartment about a 10-minute drive from the main hotel, accessed via a ride on a dirt road. The apartment was well equipped for our needs, including hosting a dinner for eight people. It featured amazing views and a pool that is a major highlight in the summer.

Peaceful, with beautiful Vistas.
Peaceful, with beautiful Vistas. The Staff was outstanding with smiles and open arms for any assistance we needed. Cooking class was fun, learning many new things none of us had known with our delightful chef who was patient and knowledgeable. Dinner at the restaurant was full of wonderful foods. The perfect place to explore wineries and take it down a few notches to relax and unwind.

I would imagine that, like me, most people go there to visit the famous Antinori wine estate, one of the most spectacular & lavish wine estates for visitors in Europe, and one of the few that are comparable with what you would find in California, South Africa or South America. There's not a great deal else here that I am aware of - it's basically a few small villages. Good location for visiting other neighbouring parts of Chianti though. And, as noted in my review elsewhere of the Albergo Bargino, its attached fish restaurant, the Trattoria del Pesce, is worth a visit in itself.

This town in the middle of Tuscany is breath taking.
This town in the middle of Tuscany is breath taking. In the middle of everywhere yet close to Florence making your return to the airport very convenient. The area is surrounded by wineries, restaurants, pizzerias and gelato shops making the panorama painteresque and unique to the area. Perfect starting point for biking too. Must visit.

The location of the town was perfect for us, as we came to have our own wine tour.
We had about a 30-40 minutes drive (tops) to each of our pins on the wine map we planned!
There are vineyards all around :)

The area was lovely, with villas and wineries everywhere.
The area was lovely, with villas and wineries everywhere. Did some of our own cooking, but also ate out.
A bus trip to Florence was worth doing.
Driving to villages/places worked well. Castellina, Radda and Volpaia our favourites.
Driving could be a little difficult on the narrow roads (for two cars to stay on the bitumen)... and buses.
We were given a bottle of wine from our winery stay, and saw the beginning of the grape harvest.

We stayed here 5 nights for a wedding at a venue very closeby (castello il Palagio) and we very much enjoyed our stay. The family hosting was really kind, accommodating and helpful. They gifted us with a bottle of wine at our arrival! The appartment was very comfortable and well equipped, it was nice to be able to make our morning coffee and have breakfast outside every morning. The hot tub room was really beautiful and fun though there’s a fee for using it. If you’re looking for a homey, authentic experience of rural tuscany this is it!
Absolutely everything was wonderful! This hotel truly has it all. Beautiful grounds, cozy restaurant, cooking class, ability to arrange biking tours, peaceful pool area. We stayed for one night and enjoyed the arranged picnic ( but wished we denied at the restaurant as it had beautiful views and lovely string of lights)
Our rooms were perfect and I did not want to leave!
We had arranged cooking class in the morning. Great chef and such a beautiful kitchen area with the unforgettable view! We are dreaming to come back one day soon.
Great hotel, but there was no air conditioner in the room. Given we travel from the usa and are used to ac, this was a bit of a negative since it gets hot. However, they have a fan which helps. Also, the breakfast is light a toast with jam and a croisant, nothing special. Overall is a nice place. Also, keep in mind this is not a winery. When we booked we thought we would stay at a winery and have wine tasting but this is just a bed and breakfast with nice views and a small pool. Good for quite time.
This place is the perfect oasis. We stayed in the tree house, which has stunning views. The receptionist was wonderful, and even helped us get a reservation in Florence (for which our Italian wasn't good enough).
The pool is heated and big enough for a decent swim. The sauna has a big window onto the grounds, which are immaculate
The park&ride to Florence is 15 min drive away.
Breakfast is great, and the restaurant offers wonderful cuisine.
An absolute gem in Chianti region. The owners were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. The hotel and its garden are beautiful and overlooking a stunning valley. Breakfast was amazing. We would recommend the hotel and the town to anyone. We will definitely come back and stay longer to enjoy the scenery, the town, the food and the company of the lovely owners.Thank you Lorenzo and Alessandra
The AMAZING hotel. The true feel of the Tuscan Villa. Amazing staff. Elena and yes the CEO Marina, superb friendly and amazing people. Can not wait to return.
IF you stay here drive 5 minutes and have dinner at the LA FATTORIA, you will not regret it.
The location has beautiful views and interesting history, short drive from Florence and to markets/wineries/restaurants, property has great amenities like bikes available for use, staff was helpful in their recommendations.
the nature and the atmosphere are both incredible because the villa is on the top of San Casciano’s hill.
A special thanks to the family that manage this hotel for their kindness.
Great Location in the valley, quiet and peaceful, close to Florence. Perfect location to relax and to make short cultural trips for Florence. Hope to come again soon...
This is a hidden gem. Out of the way, but a great view and very accommodating staff. An old Italian estate that has been converted to hotel rooms. Excellent value.
Fantastic location and facilities. Nice room, quiet and very “off the beaten path”. The views are spectacular and the short ride to Florence was beautiful.
The location is quiet yet so close to Florence, Sienna and other wonderful cities.
The rooms are quiet and comfy.
The personnel is so helpful and nice!
