Absolutely perfect place with great and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast. it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the stunning interior design – it was simply breathtaking. The interior was inviting and elegant, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation.
The swimming pool is surrounded by lush greenery and adorned with stylish decor, it was like a serene oasis in the middle of the city.

Sukhothai old city is an absolute must for any traveler to the north of Thailand, Just as Chiang Mai is supposedly. We didn't have enough time. It is an archeological wonder, ancient and a great education on the beginnings of Siam. Stay 3 nights. First night eat in town. Day 1 Do the museum and main Wat in the old city, and then eat 2nd night outside with the locals at the sidewalk market. On a rattan mat. Wonderful experience. Day 2 Do the main archeological site. Its huge. Rent a bike or golf cart. DONT WALK. Stay out of the sun. Lots of shade, but not everywhere. There are 2 other sites adjacent for separate entry you can tack on if you are really gung ho. Night 3, eat in town again. Laundry, massages, food, is REALLY CHEAP. BUT, you need to take a bus or taxi to get there from New Sukhothai OR PHITSANULOK which is an hour away by car. Which you can get to by train, or plane. If you take the train, its slow, and if you are in 3rd or 2nd class there is NO AIRCONDITIONING AND THE WINDOW AND DOORS ARE OPEN. It could be a great experience, or very bothersome. And dusty and buggy. And noisy. Or take a bus. This is not liable to change anytime soon. Pace yourself, it gets hot as hades in Thailand.

The UNESCO world heritage site in a must see.
The UNESCO world heritage site in a must see. The old ruins are amazing, but for us what was the bonus was the large maintained trees around the park, and water features give an all round old historic, beautiful park atmosphere. There are numerous places to rent bicycles, for very economical rates. We were able to bike around very easily, nice paved roads, and once you are off the main road, traffic is light, so it makes riding around very nice. like a good ride in the country!

First of all, this is a paradise for history lovers and archaeologists. The public security of this small city is very good. In fact, it is not hot for a period of time in the early morning every day, but it is very suitable to cover the quilt.

Its an ancient city and I would highly recommend people to visit it. Most people don't travel to small cities in Thailand but this city has so much ancient history, its a must to understand Thailand and its culture. The king from here started the Thai script and pushed for the language to thrive. Its a must if you visit Thailand.

Sukhothai is a nice city nested in an enchanting greenery region. If you like nature, splendid trees, historical ruins, legends, people smiling, good food and a relaxing atmosphere... it is the right place
The hotel is not too far from Sukhothai Historical Park, you can reach the park using the bike that you can rent in the hotel (the price is very fare 50bath per day per bike). The location is amazing, the rooms are little bungalows inside a green park, there are trees and flowers everywere. The common pool is very nice and clean. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is good and tasty. I loved the host, she is very nice and she really helps you with what you need for your stay and next trip. I would love to come back one day!
The location near the old town and a lot of good thai restaurants is just perfect. It is not far from the main road, where the bus from bangkok or chiang mai stops. The hotel provides bicycles for free so you can explore the historical park. Also free coffee or tea ist provided in the morning. The staff is very helpful and helped me with getting a bus ticket directly from Sukhothai old town to my next destination.
It was nice to have access to a swimming-pool, a fitness room and a buffet-style breakfast for that price. Room was comfortable, there was a kettle. It’s not the most central or close to the bus station (it’s on the east of the river) but it’s located in a long busy street so you have access to everything. From anywhere in that part of the city you have to book a tuktuk or a Grab to old Sukhothai anyway.
The hotel is beautifully maintained, room was very clean. The owner was very helpful and concerned, he upgraded us to a bigger room without extra charge due to the slow season, and helped arranging our trip for visiting the historical site, where we had a wonderful time. I would recommend the Lotus Place to my friends! 👍
The hotel is a beautiful colonial-style building. Rooms are very spacious and clean, and have private balconies. Also, the swimming pool is really nice.
The staff was very friendly. I had messed up with my reservation but the owner was really understanding and helpful and fixed everything. I really appreciated that.
Beautiful hotel, very well situated at almost 1.5km from the Historical Park, with a helpful and warm staff. Very calm and large room, a rich and tasty (local) buffet for breakfast. Possibility to make arrangements for a private driver to visit the nearby Si Satchanalai ruins (1 hour, 2800 bahts back & forth).
I lost my luggage including my traveling docs at the hotel. The hotel staff was patient enough to help me out. And arranged the delivery of my luggage to Bangkok on the other day. It was great I could make my trip on time. Many thanks for your kind arrangement and help.
The rooms are fairly small but well furnished and equipped with everything you might need, the property has a pool area and was located close to the town where there are restaurants and amenities available. The hotel also offers a fairly cheap bicycle rental service.
Location was perfect, easy walk to restaurants and scooter rental. Room was spacious, huge bathroom. Breakfast buffet was delicious and even offered us a take out on an early departure. Bed mattress was soft enough to sleep well. Sofa was relaxing. Would stay again!
We loved everything about our stay at Baan Georges Hotel. Luc is a fabulous host. The location is perfect for visiting the Sukhothai Historical Park. The accommodation and pool is beautiful and breakfast is delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Wonderful stay, great staff, excellent food in restaurant. Good location in Sukhothai. Easy Tuk Tuk or bike ride to temples. (Bike rentals very reasonably priced) Great massages at the spa and we also took a wonderful cooking class on the property.
Excellent location 5mn from the historical parc entrance. Free good bicycles.
Comfortable rooms. Good enough buffet breakfast.
Restaurants nearby.
Price was OK (900 baht) considering breakfast and bicycle included and especially good location.
Nice hotel in the old quarter of Sukhothai, very convenient to visit all the temples. Various breakfast buffet. The staffs are polite and provide good information.
Great pool with beautiful gardens. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Central location, good pizza place 200m away.
Amazing buffet breakfast and good coffee!
