My wife and i have stayed in this hotel on a couple of occasions now, usually in the September time frame. This is not a resort style hotel, that's available just a few yards away if thats what you want. The hotel is literally across the street from the Sea and we had a balcony that looked at the sea for morning coffee and/or evening drink wind down. Virgen del Mar is centrally located for walks on the Paseo or go left/right and find food/bar/beach options. We have found this hotel to be fairly priced for what we get.

Located right on the beachfront in Mojácar, Virgen del Mar Holidays has attractive Arabic-style design. It offers a sun terrace, tour desk and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Each bright room has tiled floors and a private bathroom. They also include a kettle and a TV, and some rooms have a balcony with sea views. Set on Andalucia’s Costa de Almería, the Virgen del Mar Holidays is within a 5-minute walk of many bars and restaurants, including the popular Mandala disco. Almería Airport and city center are around an hour’s drive away. A public parking is available nearby.
