Front desk was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very clean and updated. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was bright and filled with nice smelling soaps. Breakfast was delicious and the menu varied everyday during our 4 days stay. The hotel is conveniently located near a very nice Chilis and Aldi’s. The location is great as all the attractions (Breakers and Marble Hill mansions, Cliff Walk, Wharf) is a short drive away (about 15 mins). My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much!

Stayed in Middletown to be close to Newport. It was the perfect distance away from the center of Newport. Middletown seemed to be more of a residential area and we didn't spend much time there, except to stay at the Inn.

The hotel itself may look old from the outside but the room we were in was clean and updated. It is actually cleaner and updated than the most branded hotel i have checked in. I have been to different countries/places and it is the first time as far as i remember that the front desk called our room phone to check if we were doing ok..probably because we are not from the area. But it is a good gesture to make sure that the guests are comfortable. The price is affordable than the other hotels around the area.Location is convenient as well.

They say about buying a house, location, location, location! This location is EXCELLENT! Poised to hit Newport downtown, first, second, or third beach, and wildlife sanctuaries, you cannot ask for a better location. If you're like me, and you don't spend much time in the hotel, it's just your springboard, you'll be satisfied. Clean but old. The price is amazing when you consider the location.

Never disappoints! My partner and I love this hotel when we go on Newport trips, it's our go to. The location is excellent, there's a vineyard right next door and close to stores/beach. It's off a main road but despite this, the hotel is quiet at night!
