Francesca was an extraordinary host, like having a good friend welcoming you into their home. In addition to having a beautiful setting, with great views, and delicious wine nearby, two extraordinary things happened during our stay. First, we called her at 9pm asking if we could check in later that night (a day early!) because our other hotel had closed their reception at 7pm and refused to let us in. She literally saved us, staying up until 12:30am to let us in after a very long drive. Second, we had a small baby with us and needed to hire a babysitter for one evening. She kept watch over the babysitter and was ready to jump in if anything went wrong -- reassuring us that she was a volunteer for the red cross so was well qualified to help. She even surprised us with an avocado for our daughter Charlotte, after seeing that she enjoyed one we had brought with us. Francesca is simply a wonderful, thoughtful, caring person and this shines through in everything she does.

Viavai is a restored 17th-century country house set on a hill in the middle of the Piedmont region. It offers an outdoor pool and elegantly furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi. Rooms at Viavai bed and breakfast all have wood floors and a flat-screen TV and their style varied from modern to rustic with wood-beamed ceilings and stone walls. Private bathrooms are complete with a set of toiletries. Every morning, guests can enjoy a traditional breakfast with Italian coffee and regional products. A large garden with barbecue facilities is also at their disposal. Offering free parking, bed and breakfast Viavai is a 5-minute walk from a bus stop linking with Chivasso and Turin. The last one can also be reached by car in around 40 minutes.
