Since the restoration of pre - existing farmhouses in 1991, Residence Ghiacci Vecchi has been providing its guests with an incredible experience. Starting off as a small agritourism, Ghiacci Vecchi soon became a large accommodation facility, thanks to the addition of the terraced houses, the swimming pools, designed for both grown – ups and children, the restaurant and several recreational facilities, scattered around the garden. Residence Ghiacci Vecchi is the ideal destination for all sorts of holiday and for any kind of traveler: you can either relax by the pool, or visit the numerous archaeological museums the area offers and explore Val di Cornia’s unspoiled parks.

Residence Ghiacci Vecchi is surrounded by Val di Cornia’s stunning landscape and it is only a few kilometers away from the Etruscan Coast’s beaches, including the Coastal Park of Rimigliano (2 km) and the Gulf of Baratti (8 km). The area is rich in history and cultural heritage and offers the chance to explore natural, unspoiled parks and archaeological museums, as well as the opportunity to visit villages where time seems to have stopped. The numerous events and festivals organized during summertime represent an incredible occasion to have fun, to get to know the territory’s traditions and typical products, such as oil and wine.
