Agriturismo Il Ciabot, hotel in Barolo

Offering a sun terrace with views of Barolo Castle, Agriturismo Il Ciabot is located in Barolo, 8.7 mi from Alba. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom.

This stay was my favorite of all time. This is perfect for wine lovers who come to discover Barolo. The location is wonderful with breathtaking views and only a short walking distance away from the town center of Barolo. The house is in rustic style, decorated tastefully with beautiful antique furniture. However, the best part of our stay was the owner. A kind and generous man whose estate makes the very best wine we've had in Barolo (in our opinion), and who will be happy to share his passion and endless knowledge with visitors. Thank you for everything, staying at Il Ciabot was a dream!

Agriturismo Le Viole, hotel in Barolo

Set at an altitude of 1362 feet, Agriturismo Le Viole is in the pretty Langhe hills just 1.9 mi outside the famous wine town of Barolo.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the hosts. It was a big bedroom with a big and new bathroom. Everything was extremely clean. We had a free visit of their small winery and a taste of their wines all for free. Hosts were speaking enough French and English so we managed to understood everything and to chat with them. The breakfast was amazing. Fresh out of the oven there was a delicious figs (from their garden) crostata and 2 other types of cakes homemade, served warm. Coffee was made on order, espresso or cappuccino. There was an assortment of local cheeses and dry sausages, fruits, cereals, yogourt, juice, etc. It was super well located, close to Barolo, La Morra, Montforte d'Alba, etc. We had an awesome view of the mountains and the sunset. The hosts made all the difference in the world, we felt welcomed and we regretted we could not stay longer.

Barolo Apartments, hotel in Barolo

Barolo Apartments features free Wifi and rooms with air conditioning in Barolo. Featuring a private entrance, the vacation home allows guests their privacy.

Our stay at Barolo Apartments was memorable. From check-in to check-out Gianni and his staff made it easy and quick. We arrived in Barolo and our baggage was still in Amsterdam. The airline failed us. Gianni made us comfortable telling us it happens often and we will probably have our baggage by the next day. That was comforting. He told us that since we would be out touring he would sign for bags and put them into our rooms himself. We were so happy to see them there when we returned from our first full day of touring; Gianni had kept his word and made us quite happy. The rooms (we had 2 separate rooms) were nicely decorated and comfortable. They were clean and well cared for. Having the owner operate the Enoteca below the apartments was convenient. Gianni has a nice selection of local wines and is quite knowledgeable about restaurants, wineries and enotecas. He was always willing to help us out as we were trying to navigate this new and amazing place (for us). I highly recommend Barolo Apartments. I hope to visit again in the future.

We spent two wonderful nights at this guest house. Beatrice was extremely friendly and helpful. She provided an amazing yummy breakfast both mornings and had some great suggestions for eating and aperitif's. The location was very convenient to winery's and sightseeing. If we ever go back to Barolo, we would definitely stay here again.

Barolo is a very pretty town surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards. We travelled by car and it was easy to visit lots of pretty towns in this beautiful region. Barolo offers a selection of restaurants and pizzeria offering very good food, service and of course great wines and everyone was very welcoming.

A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region.

A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region. We started in Asti & then Turin. Its great to get out of the city and see "real" Italy, garnished in grapes ready to harvest. I felt like I was in a fairy tale. Barolo was a great town to be in and biking was phenomenal there.

Nice, tiny, idyllic village albeit too touristic and (consequently) overpriced wines in the several wine stores. You'll presumably get same products cheaper at your home country! Suggest to make arrangements to visit the manifold wineries instead.

Beautiful wine area, great if you like driving through vines on twisty-turny hairpin roads - we do! The Ristorante Brezza at the Hotel di Barolo is the best place to eat, with a fabulous wine list and La Cantinetta was also good. Barolo is a place to go to if you love wine, local food & vineyards. If you want nightlife and activities, you'd be better off elsewhere.

Nice village, however we liked La Morra and Monforte d'Alba a loo little more. Prices at the wine tasting were a ribb-off, Monforte d'Alba has a similar place with reasonable tasting as well as bottle pricing. The town Alba is also worth a visit.

First and foremost, atmosphere of the hotel was simply enchanting. The hotel itself exuded elegance and Italian charm. It’s located in the picturesque landscapes of Italy, surrounded by breathtaking views of rolling hills, vineyards and charming villages. The rooms were clean and bed was so comfortable and also breakfast was so good. I highly recommend their breakfast!

The property is brand new and located in a beautiful area of Barolo with gorgeous view over the vineyards. The property is family-run by people who make the effort to make your stay special and get you what you need. Communication with Cristina was very efficient and helpful. Breakfast is delicious, and includes local cheese and fresh vegetables from the garden.

Antionella actually drove us to an appointment and picked us up three hours later. I couldn’t be happier with this property, nor Antoinella. We usually stay at a hotel and not an apartment. I would definitely consider doing this again. Antoinella, I don’t speak Italian, but I hope this translates for you. You are the dearest person and we thank you so very much.

Excellent location in the centre of the village. Very convenient for exploring the whole Barolo region. Great facilities for self catering or dining in the superb local restaurants. Good aircon throughout. The position of the apartment made the most of cooling breezes even on hot days. Separate toilet close to main bedroom was very convenient.

This is a perfect gem of a place to enjoy a stay. The hosts are charming and the apartment has been beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, great shower, we had everything we needed. They make very good wine here and the centre of Barolo is just a short walk with lots of restaurants.
