We stayed the apartment with a huge balcony with a great view of the harbour and mountains. The decoration inside is very local, lovely and tasteful. The host is very friendly and helpful and they recommended routes and places for us. There is a washing machine as well which is very handy. Overall it is an amazing place to stay. Not to mention the sunset view on the balcony, which is wonderful

The breakfast options were excellent. A range of cereals, rice pudding, cakes, Greek morning food such as cheese, olives, tomatoes and yoghurt. In addition, we liked the drip coffee and orange juice. The host Ioannis was very welcoming and informative with aspects of the island and also suitable swimming areas, tavernas and festivals. We were able to get a lift back to the port from Ioannis which saved us a bit of time at the other end as we had a beach umbrella, mats and luggage for our lengthy stay in Greece. We had booked a sea view room which enabled us to watch the ferries coming into and out of the port at Kamares. Kamares beach was also not far from the guest house and we loved spending time there.

Staying in Kamares proved to be a good decision for visiting Sifnos, and villa Areto was a great choice : close to the beach and to the harbour with the restaurants and the shops, as well as the bus stop. We got a spacious room, well-equipped, with a nice traditional and homely character. We enjoyed the balcony (with a superb view) and the front yard. In the end, we never took breakfast as we could not get out of our beds in time, but it looked great and was served in a unique atmosphere. The owners were very helpful for us, also in solving a small administrative problem.

Villa Areto had a very unique traditional character. The decoration consists of beautiful pottery, traditional embroidery, and amazing paintings. The room was very comfortable and cozy, and the view was simply captivating. The wifi and air-conditioning were running excellent. The breakfast and drinks were very tasty. The owner, the stuff were the living proof of Greek hospitality.

The location of the property is excellent, close to the port and to the beach (perfect for the early morning swim). The room had a huge terrace and it was very clean. The breakfast was very good - local and home made food. The staff was so kind and helpful.
