Fabulous stay, the proprietors were warm and welcoming. Gave great tips of things to see in the area and a little further out. The pub was a haven after a busy day touring about. The restaurant was excellent and interesting to cook your own protein. There was a gas bar a block away and a fish & chip shop that was doing a very brisk business.

My family and I spent a few days here recently and we loved it. The whole place was lovely. The owners were so helpful and really nice. There was a gorgeous outdoor heated swimming pool and a hot tub outside our accommodation. My family spent a great afternoon playing the huge outdoor chess game and the kids loved the play area. The beds were really comfortable and the place was so clean. It felt so luxurious and we were sorry to have had only booked a short stay here. We will be back and would highly recommend this holiday cottage.

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent.
Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes.
Probably better on a fine day!

Quite a quaint town during the day but at night it does come alive especially the pubs.
A really lovely range of shops and food places.
A visit to the castle is a must.
The best places are often the ones reccomended by locals.
2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather.
Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather.
Went for a few walks on the coastal pathways which had breathtaking views. Cardigan was 10 minutes away by car. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Crwst. This is a must for anyone visiting the area.
Great pasta lunch at Berlotti's. A fairly good variety of shops in Cardigan.
We also visited Theatre Mwldan during our stay to watch the latest Poirot film.
Beautiful accommodation in a lovely home and rooms just outside of Cardigan. Wonderful fresh cut up fruit is served with your breakfast. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We needed an earlier breakfast in order to catch the Poppit Rocket bus to hike a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
The approximate mile long road approaching the lodging is a typical narrow country lane (with turnouts) that can be a little nerve wracking for those not accustomed to narrow roads. This establishment is well worth the drive down to it.

Booking process was very straightforward, there's parking out front & check in was very easy.
Nicola & Anthony that run it are lovely, so friendly, very welcoming & go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.
Our room (3) was very nice & had everything we needed & the double bed was very comfortable.
Plenty of tea/coffee + bottled water which is always on offer if you're running low.
The hotel is a 5min walk from Cardigan Castle & so in a great spot for exploring the town.
Truly stunning location with magnificent views over Cardigan Bay. The restaurant and bars face onto the views with lots of outside tables and seating too. The constantly changing light and weather make for ever-changing vistas.
Huge room and bathroom. Super king-size bed which was very comfortable. Quick and efficient service in bars and restaurant. Easy parking.
Superb location, close to so many towns, villages and beaches. Had a lovely stay.
The Cottage is on the site of the beautiful Penrallt Country House Hotel in Aberporth which is a lovely setting.
Short drive to Cardigan, which is what we wanted; places to eat... PizzaTipi, The Copper Pot, El Salsa, Stiwdio 3 Cafe for breakfast.
Try 'A Bay to Remember' for boat trips
The hotel has a fantastic location on Cardigan Bay and is pretty self-contained with a restaurant and small spa complex. The hotel caters for a lot of guests and is run very efficiently. Every seemed to know what they were supposed to be doing and there was a nice atmosphere between the staff.
We really enjoyed our stay at Flambards. Very friendly helpful staff, comfortable room with a nice bathroom. Excellent meal at the restaurant, best we have had in Wales on holiday so far! Big parking area, and I just really liked this place - just five minute drive to Cardigan town centre.
Location was perfect for exploring Cardigan and its surrounding coastline. 10-15 drive for most beaches we wanted to visit. The cottage was also close to the town centre. but still felt like we were secluded in our own little quiet haven!
Breakfast was very well prepared and delicious. The fresh fruit and croissants were very good. The location of the house is very close to Cardigan town centre. The hosts are very nice people and we recommend you stay there.
Quick check-in and friendly staff, good location of the hotel, nice breakfast (also considerate of gluten-free wishes), nice to have a bar as part of the place :) generally recommended if you want to experience a classic 'Inn'.
Lovely old house right in town, but very quiet. very clean and comfortable. Lovely welcoming host, Gary and Sally were very helpful and friendly with lots of good info about the area.
This is a quirky little hotel with buckets of charm. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the breakfasts were amazing. We will remember this place next time we travel to Wales.
Location with stunning views. Just a short trip by car to Cardigan town centre or the local beach. A warm welcome to a relaxing and peaceful setting. Nice and clean and tidy.
The room was beautifully decorated. Original Victorian fireplace. Very clean and staff were very helpful and pleasant. The views across Cardigan Bay were stunning.
