There were a number of adventure/cultural/pampering packages available to add to your stay - I only wish I had time to do more of them. We did a rice field walk which was very good. All of the staff were lovely, and Ketut, the manager, was such a pleasure! The on-site warung, "Warung Melita", was great and the breakfast provided was delicous. Since the resort is a little remote (but not too remote), we chose to eat at the warung for dinners and it was very tasty. We even participated in a cooking class and enjoyed the food we made for dinner that evening. Note that there are other warungs a five to 10 minute walk away.
An extra little added luxury was coffee and tea delivered to our patio early in the morning so it was waiting to be enjoyed when we woke up. The grounds were lovely, beside a river, and the pool was very refreshing.
Set against a backdrop of rice terraces in Sidemen, Teras Bali Sidemen Bungalow and Spa offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and Agung Volcano.

It was a nice little villa tucked away on what seemed like a resort street. The rooms were clean and the pool was lovely. It was close to other spots to eat and we enjoyed the views of the terraces from other locations. The breakfast was ok- I really liked the scrambled eggs and pastry set. The beds were on the firmer side but I prefer that. Overall it was very comfortable and a great price!
Featuring an outdoor pool, Khrisna Hs and Cottages is located at the rice fields in Sidemen and offers accommodations with private terraces and open-air shower facilities.

Sidemen is still not too touristic and does feel off the beaten track. There is a lot of development happening, but locals still see people as people. It is walkable in 30-ish minutes. There is plenty of restaurants, tracks and things to do while being there. Would definitely recommend! Easy to get to and 1 hr away from the beach. Very calm and quiet.

Great authentic area to visit in Bali, the rice terraces are spectacular and also there are some nice views around if you go by scooter. Good area for tourist needs, nice warungs and restaurants ( i recommend Samanvaya) in the area, scooter rental and stores. Pretty close to many waterfalls, views and other atttractions like Penglipuran Village.
The main streets get pretty busy sometimes and some b roads are in a really bad shape, but with a scooter you can overcome everything and the spectacular nature makes you forget any inconvenience.

The pool was great for swimming and walking through the gardens and rice fields on the property was a bliss.
Make sure you check out the restaurant which has a great selection and really good food and the traditional Balinese massage in the spa was one of the best ever.
The view was amazing! The village was very calm and very beautiful.
The staff was so nice and friendly, we loved their hospitality.
If you go to Bali and want to enjoy the calmness and peacefullness of the island, you need to visit Sidemen. The rice terraces were gorgeous! And you can rent a scooter from the hotel to visit the nearby temples or just ride freely in the picturesque neighbourhood.
I would love to come back to the same place!
The view from DR3 is amazing. Breakfast is really good (only took the Indonesian). Also dinner er really good. They came to ask at our villa if we wanted te eat in so they could make a reservation. Pool is great, maybe they could place some more umbrellas. Massage is also really nice in a calm and relax environment. Sidemen is a nice and quit place. We walked 9,5km with our stroller.

this place is heaven on earth and has the best views in the sidemen valley. not to mention that Neoman was an incredibly special host who made us feel so welcome and told us all about the Balinese way of life. we originally planned to stay 3 nights and extended to 7 and I wish we had done more!
Nice and quiet stay in Sidemen. We were there for only 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. The room and bed were nice and comfortable. There are only four villas/rooms on the property so there is not too much noise. The staff are attentive and friendly. They have a nice outdoor pool as well.
Fantastic location, walking distance to very good restaurants. We hired a driver from the hotel to take us to see sites and he was very friendly and helpful! He took us to the morning market, the yellow bridge, a waterfall and rice paddies. Also a beautiful pool and view.
Magnificent hotel surounded by raw natural beauty of Sidemen. Great location for day trips to Tirta Ganga and Lempuyang temple. Staff is extremely friendly and always offered to keep our baby while we were having our meals. Probably the best hotel we ever visited.
The rooms are really big and spacious with a nice view on the rice fields and or the pool. I highly recommend this hotel. Sidemen is really a great place to stay for 1 or 2 days in Bali!
The room was beautiful with a very nice view. The staff was super frendly. You can even go by foot to sidemen if you dont mind walking. Wa got a free footmassage when we arrived.
Wonderful stay with Ari. His pork ribs are extraordinary, don't miss it. Sidemen is a special place. 5 minutes walk to the main village with soul-stirring green terraces
The pool area is beautiful. It was what attracted us to this hotel. Staff are also very friendly and will help out with anything if it's in their power.
