The room was great. I actually like not having the room serviced while we were there. If we are stayed longer, we would have traded towels, but we were only there two days.

Our cottage was clean, cute and comfortable, close to the beach and a ton of places to eat. The cottage provided beach chairs, cooler and other things to help make it easy to pack for the beach., The staff was friendly and the gated community was well maintained.

Excellent location, friendly staff, great place for families
Wells is a great little town. I visited off season, but there were many places still open. Mimi’s Quilt Shop further down Route 1 was awewsome! I had a great dinner at Mike’s Clam Shack and breakfast at the Egg and I. Although there were many antique shops, none seemed open when I was visiting.

We loved our beds. They were so comfortable.
We loved our beds. They were so comfortable. It’s a convenient place to stay because every thing you needed is in the same road. Just up the road from Wells beach , Maine Diner and the Egg and I. I loved that! We were put in a downstairs room and the people upstairs kept walking around and we heard it all night. I would avoid getting a downstairs room. That was the worse. Nubble Lighthouse not far away.

Beautiful area - the beach is gorgeous!
Beautiful area - the beach is gorgeous! Perkins Cove Candies, Congdon'e Donuts and The Bitter End restaurant are 'must visit' stops. The Bitter End's food was unique the spot was fun and festive. Had a spectacular spicy marguerita with their house-made jalapeno tequila. Not a 'touristy' spot either. I might drive the 2.5 hours just to eat there again. lol

Be prepared for the exorbitant meter rates at all the public beaches. Otherwise, good food such as the Maine Diner and nearby attractions such as Lundholm Farm. To avoid the rip off parking, we drove up to Ferry Beach State Park, well worth it.

Wells is not as charming as Ogunquit but hotel was between the two. I would choose to spend time in Ogunquit. Enjoyed going to the playhouse and the marginal path. Parking is a nightmare, however. We parked by catholic church after last mass. Otherwise, not sure where we could have parked. Would like to make it on to the beach for next visit.

Very nice village to get to know southern coastal Maine up to Portland. Fishing trips easy to be booked in small harbor (speak with harbor master, or ask for captain Tom). Easy to eat Fishermen’s Catch pub nearby. Shops nearby and beaches available. Smaller and less touristy than Kennebunk or Portland.
You can visit fair amount of lighthouses within a few minutes driving distance from here.
Location was good. We were not far from Wells Beach and could drive there in just a few minutes. There is coffee that you could walk to ( Dunkin) or more options within a mile or two drive. Food options everywhere up and down route 1. We drove into Ogunquit many times but it is not a walkable distance for most. The pools inside and outside kept the toddler entertained! The staff was accommodating and we got extra towels and linen easily for our group.
Bill and Mike made us feel right at home! The room was spotless and clean, the house was organized and spacious, and the outdoor garden area was beautiful. They both went to great lengths to ensure we had a great time in Wells, not to mention their breakfast was amazing! Will definitely be coming back, they made our anniversary very special.
Location is great: in the center of Wells, short drive to the beach, short drive to the grocery store.
Pool and hot-tub are great: not crowded, kids had an amazing time
Beds were comfortable
Cottage is small but nice for a small family
Good quality soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided
Puzzles, beach chairs, towels available
The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on at a hotel. I wish I could have taken it home with me.I loved that it didn't have a typical mini fridge and the size of the room was amazing. They had silverware and dishes to use along with sponges and dish soap. Overall a wonderful set up
Our host, Patrick, was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Just what you would want at a B&B. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was outstanding. We enjoyed the pool and, of course, the location. Close to everything in Wells and Ogunquit. We would definitely stay there again.
We love this location in Wells Maine - close to everything we look for (.. restaurants, stores - near beach) and short distance from visiting other favorites (ie: the Outlets or Oginquit) as well. The hotel was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
The location/area in Wells. The beautiful 2bdrm unit with natural lighting, comfort all around and easy ground floor access. Like the pool and the staff. Have already stayed before and WILL CONTINUE!
Good location close to a coffee shop, activities and the fun park and obviously close to wells beach and ogunsquit, clean location with helpful staff and good facilities.
We booked last minute, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and the hotel was clean and quite. In walking distance of the beach, gas stations and stores
Nice hotel, very friendly staff, very clean - just as we would like to stay in an accommodation! We would love to come back and can highly recommend the hotel.
