This is a lovely, comfortable apartment with a gas fireplace in the living room. Margaret supplies the ingredients for a very good breakfast, and even brought us a plate of Christmas cookies for our afternoon tea.

The tiny home was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The location was incredible, you’re literally moments off the Main Street in Peterborough on a very quiet street. We had less than a 5 minute drive for our dinner reservation or movies. The property even provided coffee, small toiletries (which was perfect as I forgot my shampoo & conditioner). There were many, many options available on the TV if you’d rather stay in for the evening. They even provided a variety of board games and entertainment options which were super fun to go through. We chose to stay here after our elopement ceremony and it was the perfect place to unwind. We may even make it an anniversary tradition!

Peterborough has beautiful green spaces and lots of hiking trials. The University offers many cultural events open to the public (i.e. Powwow). Plus the campus is beautiful even in the winter months. Also, there are many shopping options and not far to Oshawa or Go Train to Toronto.

It has been many years since I’ve been to Peterborough and I was shocked at the degradation over large part of the downtown… Graffiti and lots of homeless with obvious signs of prolific drug use. In three days I was there I never saw a single police officer. I did not feel safe in the downtown. It’s no longer the beautiful city I remember and would never consider retiring there.

I all ready gave my big review, but one thing I noticed later was this star reward for each night you stay of which I Have lost out on as staff did not inform me about. The only negative to my trip. Also reviewing all the things to see and do which the area has plenty of. Was not a part of this trip. I live in peterborough and this stay was a birthday getaway.
Location worked well while visiting family in Peterborough. I travelled from London.
Price was fair and room was clean. I did enjoy the continental breakfast as well.
I appreciated being able to book a room as I couldn't find many available unless I was booking a two night stay. I only needed one night stay.
House keeping staff were super friendly. They greeted you in the hallway and wished you a nice stay. A note was left in the room saying to enjoy the stay. I forgot tooth brushes and we were provided with some free of charge with tooth paste. I thought that was a great feature of the hotel.
The room was recently decorated to a high standard, but beneath the new styling is an old run down establishment. Great location by the waterfront is wasted with a lackluster hotel not up to the standards that I expect from holiday inn.
Very pleasant stay. The hotel is perfectly located and the staff was very friendly and professional. We loved the generous breakfast and found our room quiet and clean. Would definitely go back for a family trip!
Friendly staff, easy check-in/out. Rooms are always comfortable, quiet, and it's very cost-effective. The Quality Inn is my go-to place to stay whenever I come to Peterborough, and would recommend it to anyone.
This is my choice hotel whenever I am in Peterborough visiting family. Staff are always friendly and the hotel is clean and comfortable. I also like the coffee in the room and the breakfast has several options.
