The tiny home was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The location was incredible, you’re literally moments off the Main Street in Peterborough on a very quiet street. We had less than a 5 minute drive for our dinner reservation or movies. The property even provided coffee, small toiletries (which was perfect as I forgot my shampoo & conditioner). There were many, many options available on the TV if you’d rather stay in for the evening. They even provided a variety of board games and entertainment options which were super fun to go through. We chose to stay here after our elopement ceremony and it was the perfect place to unwind. We may even make it an anniversary tradition!

Good experience visiting sites including Trent University where our daughter graduated from. The weather was cold and windy so we did NOT get to the zoo. Down town is clean and there are good eateries.

Loved the free zoo!! We packed a picnic lunch & played at the park. We also really enjoyed checking out the boat locks. 241 pizza was delicious & quick for a large order. The view of water was nice near our hotel “holiday inn waterfront” Overall great place to visit!

Peterborough has beautiful green spaces and lots of hiking...
Peterborough has beautiful green spaces and lots of hiking trials. The University offers many cultural events open to the public (i.e. Powwow). Plus the campus is beautiful even in the winter months. Also, there are many shopping options and not far to Oshawa or Go Train to Toronto.

It has been many years since I’ve been to Peterborough and I was shocked at the degradation over large part of the downtown… Graffiti and lots of homeless with obvious signs of prolific drug use. In three days I was there I never saw a single police officer. I did not feel safe in the downtown. I all ready gave my big review, but one thing I noticed later was this star reward for each night you stay of which I Have lost out on as staff did not inform me about. The only negative to my trip. Also reviewing all the things to see and do which the area has plenty of. Was not a part of this trip. I live in peterborough and this stay was a birthday getaway.james
