Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It is near Calatayud Train Station going to Madrid or Barcelona via Regional Trip. Also it is near at the major business centers and establishments in town (Bank, Fastfood Restaurant, Grocery Store etc...)
Service/Personnel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They are friendly. The woman from the afternoon shift who assisted me while checking in and also the man from the morning shift who helped me with my issue with the super hot water coming out from the shower.
Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So far, this is the only thing I am happy about. It is clean and the decors are up to date.

The host gave us instructions where to park nearby, and it was easy to find a parking spot. The apartment is within walking distance of many restaurants and cafés, and it’s an ideal location for reaching Monasterio de Piedra quickly. It spans over two floors and has two separate bedrooms. The kitchen and dining/living room seemed comfortable, but we didn’t make use of it. The host left muffins for us, which was very much appreciated.

The biggest problem was finding the hotel - postcodes in Spain cover way too big an area and often the street location information seems to be in a local language variant and not accepted by a SatNav device. All this coupled with the fact that few people speak English makes finding hotels a bit of a problem.
This is a surprising place. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room - although the decor was a little tired - was clean and well provided with towels for example. The menu for the evening meal was really good value. Plenty to eat for breakfast for €8. Calatayud was just a stopover for me but it worked because of the hotel. Also secure parking at very reasonable cost.
Secure underground parking on the other side of the road, spaces were small so I took two, no one complained! Public parking adjacent to the hotel. Room is small but comfortable. The church bells go off every 15 mins but thankfully stop at 11pm. Located in the busy town with lots going on in the area. Hotel restaurant dinner was good but difficult to get a menu translation.
Meson de la Dolores is in a very old, historic building, perhaps the oldest in Calatayud (15th century). So it has a lot of atmosphere. Breakfast is OK and the staff is friendly. As the hotel is situated in the middle of the old city of Calatayud, next to the tourist office, the location is perfect. Also the room was very quiet; I didn't hear the noise in the restaurant.
Great location en route to southern Spain.
Good value for money. We had sleet and hail then rain soon after arrival. We were relaxing in our room when water started to drip through the ceiling onto our bed. the staff were brilliant. We (and others) were immediately allocated new rooms. The staff continued to serve whilst trying to clear up the mess. they were brilliant.
We loved our stay in Calatayud and our apartment suited our needs perfectly. It's spacious, quiet & well located and the communication with our friendly and helpful host was great. Although the apartment is on the 4th floor there's an elevator available if needed. We found Calatayud an interesting city to visit and the Museo is well worth a visit.
I became unwell whilst staying at the hotel and the staff could not do enough to help me. they were so kind.
Apart from that, the hotel is perfectly sited for walks around the town and is central to all sites. It is exceptionally clean (as have been all hotels in Spain that we stayed in).
i would not hesitate to stay there again
i like the location of the hotel, it is very near in the bus station and very easy to find.. the staff are so kind and accomodating..they are very easy to deal with and very eager to help us in our needs. if ever i will go back to Calatayud i will go back on this hotel again.
Really friendly staff.
Lovely old-fashioned hotel.
Good location virtually on the main square.
Large supermarket nearby.
Large room with easy chair and two backless seats making it easier to put on/take off your shoes after a long hike.
Super nice staff, check-in and check-out were smooth and fast, and the hotel in general is fantastic, with great facilities, especially taking into account the price.
Second visit love the hotel, located next to free car park and bars and restaurants in close proximity, however we ate at hotel menu del dia which was very good.
Good evening meal in the restaurant; simple breakfast served in the bar. The building is beautiful. Finding the hotel was tricky but found it eventually.
Easy to find and plenty of free parking around the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially in the cafe bar. The food was really good too.
