We liked the proximity of the village of Soto de Cangas to...
We liked the proximity of the village of Soto de Cangas to Cangas de Onis which is a pleasant, attractive town, easy to access by car. You can also walk into Cangas along the river and this is 2 - 3 miles. Taxis are reasonable. Soto de Cangas is quite near to the pilgrimage site of Covadonga with its beautiful cathedral, caves and access to beautiful mountain lakes and walks. There are a few restaurants in Soto de Cangas but it is only a fairly small place and we didn't see any shops although there are plenty in Cangas de Onis.AdrianUnited Kingdom

Room was super clean and owner speaks English - what else to wish for? :) It is close enough to ride for a sunrise to Lagos de Covadongas, do the circuit around both lakes and get back to the hotel for late hours of breakfast (been here in July & definitely recommend) - that was a perfect start of a day! :)

We came for following Vuelta and he actually gave us many many useful information about how we can go and watch. He gave also a great tip about good local restaurant. The breakfast was so delicious.
