The best thing about this property is the hostess. She is so helpful. We also liked how clean everything was, and the room had a very good bed and pillows. Everything is very simple but clean and neat. The breakfast is simple too, just an egg, juice, coffee and rolls but it’s all we needed. Thank you Patrica, we appreciated our stay with you very much.

Location was great-the end of the queue for the buses to Machu Picchu were right in front of the hotel. They met us at the train and walked us to the property to check in. The King size bed was supersized-bigger than any king in the USA, and the breakfast was good.

Machu pichu is quite spectacular and set in an equally spectacular natural setting.
However the queues for the train, the bus going up, the entry, the toilets, the cafe, and the 800 metre queue for the bus back, together with the precipitous stairs and the congested trails through the site, greatly diminished the enjoyment of the experience . Waiting times amounted to several hours, often in the sun. And this was with pre-purchased tickets.
Weigh up a visit carefully. We enjoyed our stay at Ollantaytambo much more - a nice little rural town with fabulous archeology and Peruvian culture

It was a childhood dream for me. I had a foggy day when was my ticket. It was a mystery. Maybe it'll be better if it was sunny. The prise was very high, but when you have a dream, you should do it.

Machu Picchu was completely abandoned for nearly 400 years.
Machu Picchu was completely abandoned for nearly 400 years. There are no know written records of who built it, what it was used for or the part it played in Inca history. The guides are totally speculative. They have good stories..... but completely from their imagination. Do your homework and prepare for the visit.
They do pick you up at the train station when you arrive to help you with luggage. Walking distance to the hotel. Very quite at night even when it is right downtown. The bus that goes up Machu Picchu is right outside our hotel. Breakfast is good on the 6th flood with a great view of the whole town. Surrounded by lots of restaurant and massage places. Good reception who help me with printing out the ticket up Machu Picchu and also where to get the bus tickets. Free hot water and coco tea leaves. GReat view from our room.
Amazing hotel in Aguas Calientes. We had a room facing the river with a great view of the mountains from the balcony. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was hot (something we had not experienced in other hotels in Peru) and this was so important to us considering the weather was cold. In walking distance to all nearby bars and restaurants. The hotel offered a great breakfast with plenty of variety. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking to visit Macchu Picchu.
- Bigest room we had in all Peru, with an amazing view on the mountains
- 3 minutes away from the bus stop to Machu Picchu, 1 from the train station, 1 from the market et 3 from all the restaurants
- Very clean with comfortable beds
- People were amazing to help us. They keep our backpack while we were at the Machu Picchu and they prepared us a breakfast to go before the opening hour.
- A special thanks to John and Alberto, the managers of the hotel who were very kind to guide us.
Well… I can’t seriously evaluate this particular hotel. Inkaterra has 2 hotels in the town. This one and the high-end Inkaterra Pueblo. Considering Machu Picchu just reopened after the protests in Peru and there were very few tourists just yet, it didn’t make sense for them to have both hotels open. We have booked this hotel, but they put us in their main hotel. That one was still maybe at 10-20% of its capacity.
That being said, the stay was amazing.
This hotel is very pleasant for a stay in Aquas Calientes. They pick you up from the train station and walk you to the hotel (with umbrellas, if it's pouring!). They provide you with great information about Machu Picchu, and don't try to upsell any guiding/services. The breakfast is very good value- you can customize based on eating preferences. The hotel is very convenient to the Thermal Baths, and not far from the main heart of Aquas Calientes.
Firstly, the location is perfect. This hotel is only a few minutes walk from the station so we got there easily after long trip from Cusco. We expected some noise of train but actually it was quiet so nothing bothered us. And the room was more spacious than we expected. We brought only small bag but there is enough space to open the big suitcases. We highly recommend this hotel to spend amazing time in Machupicchu.
As instructed before our arrival we were welcomed at the train station and then escorted to the hotel while being told everything important for Machu Picchu trip (on the way we stopped at the bus ticket office and purchased tickets for the next day). Room was clean, breakfast tasty and everything else was good. We left our luggage while visiting MP. Absolutely recommend, value for money.
Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes, we were heading straight to Machu Picchu. Panorama B&B offered to meet us at the train station and pick up our luggage and bring it to the hotel so we didn't have to worry about that, which was very convenient. In the morning there is a simpler breakfast with made to order eggs that starts early to accommodate those going to Machu Picchu.
Extremely friendly staff who came to meet us at the train station, together with our guide for the following morning. The hotel provided a packed breakfast as we set off very early for Machu Picchu. The location is excellent, just by the train station and 1min from where the busses leave for Machu Picchu. All in all, a great place to spend the night in Aguas Calientes!
The hotel is off the main square, close to all the market and restaurants. We were so thankful for this place. Our train arrived late, but they waited at the train station for about 30 mins to pick us up. The bed is very comfortable and great views from the room. They also made breakfast very early for us to go to Machu Picchu at early morning.
Very nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Very close to the mall. Great restaurant very near. It is located in a quiet street. I love their small and cute garden and hearing the birds singing during the day. The room and bathroom are simple and very nicely decorated. They pay attention to details. Great and comfortable bed. I loved the area.
Breakfast was great, our room was a triple room, and it was cozy and comfortable. The location was great, we arrived in the train, and it was right in front of the station. There are a lot of restaurants near the hotel, and the bus station to Machu Picchu is a two-minute walk. The hotel is beside the river, so it has a great view.
The view of the surrounding mountains was really amazing. The breakfast option was great and they even made us lunch packages for our hike to Machu Picchu. There was also no problem extending our stay for one night. I can definitely recommend to stay at the Eco Art Hotel!
The breakfast was really good, with a good buffet variety and when we woke up early for Machu Picchu they left us a bag out each with some breakfast to take on the go. The receptionist was really lovely and the hotel was well located and clean and cozy.
The staff was great. Aguas Calientes is a small town so you’d either stay at a 5 star hotel or not. If you pick the non 5 star hotels, which we did, most of them are close to the city center and the train station. We loved this small town.
The kind reception lady managed to check us in early as we were quite sick and tired from Inca Trail. Hotel is easy to spot. Nice balcony view. Was the only breakfast hotel buffet in my Peru trip that had BACON!
Very nice hotel. The room was big with a very nice view to the river and with a nice jacuzzi. The staff was outstanding and the breakfast very good. Next time in Machu Picchu we will be there again.
