Check-in was super easy. Room clean.
Only one restaurant but food was good, if a little over-priced.

Great breakfast, excellent staff. They were very friendly, even in the middle of the night when we arrived. Room was fine and clean. Location was close to bus station and the airport, all within a few minutes of walk.
This newly refurbished 4-star Manchester Airport hotel is superbly located within the airport complex, and within 20 minutes’ drive of Manchester city center.

Actually they let us wait till midnight and tell us to go another hotel because they give our room to someone else and they don’t have enough rooms available and by the way paid the fees up front in booking

Close to the airport always a great stay. Breakfast was good

Great price and close to the airport. Nice that breakfast can be grab and go if your flight is very early. Staff are nice. Easy to find and quiet.
Being a captive Audience for Food.
Holiday Inn looked good for Food but waiting times put us off as we had to get up early for a flight to Malta
The Ibis Hotel Food was tasty and hot but we had to wait an age before it came. We could not understand why it took so long for the Food to arrive as it did not seem busy and Food was microwaved ??

Really only used the hotel due to its proximity to the railway station and the airport terminal.
Hardly able to review Hale but would advise anyone with limited mobility that there is a good walk involved...partly in the sheltered 'corridor' and then on the open to get to the Ibis Hotel

Needed a nice sized room with a couple of double beds for self and daughter as she had early morning flight. Great staff, organised her a 4:30am shuttle bus even though just a few hundred yards away. We had booked a local restaurant as other daughter studies at Man Uni so can't comment on food other than menu in lift seemed comprehensive for most airport hotel traveller requirements. Passing bar and restaurants both looked more than pleasant for an airport hotel

One of the nicest hotel I've stayed in, best bed ever in the room super comfy, tidy hotel and excellent location for the terminals, the only disappointment was the price of food at meal, especially the sirloin steak at £45 per steak and had the cheek to charge extra for the chips and sides unbelievable!!! I would and will stay at this hotel again but definitely won't be paying for food there I will go out from the hotel for food.

Great location for airport, no transfer needed.
Great location for airport, no transfer needed. Lovely hotel with a touch of luxury, even has a nice gym, pool, sauna and steam room. Rather expensive for one night but worth it for the convenience when taking an early flight.

Only thing I liked was convenience to airport.
Only thing I liked was convenience to airport. Otherwise I didn't like anything..Not the room, not the view, not the amenities, or lack of. Price outragious. Had just stayed in a luxery hotel with spa and fitness center, fab food and lounge, fantastic room and amenities for half the price of a basic hole in the wall with a view of cars.
Restaurant meal was lovely my Daughter had the Chicken Snitzel+ I had the Beefburger with Bacon + Cheese. Both were lovely + hot + chips really crispy. We had the White Chocolate + Red Velvet Cheesecake which was gorgeous. Room was lovely + clean + beds were soo comfortable. Ideal for morning flight from Manchester. Transfers were good + on time. You can walk it’s about 15 mins- but for £14 return isn’t too bad if you are pushed for time. All in all a nice hotel. Lovely man on reception he was so helpful.
Best hotel for Manchester Airport, location, service, cleanliness, everything is perfect. I have always stayed at the Clayton and never had a bad experience, this is the first time I have taken my young daughter (18months) away and the service they provided was exceptional just the small things like providing a bottle of warm milk free of charge etc. If you are looking for a hotel on this area I would strongly recommend paying an extra couple of quid over a holiday inn etc it’s worth every penny!!!
It was a 5 minute walk from Manchester Airport station - the crossing to the hotel is over a busy road but a little further past the hotel are traffic lights where you can cross safely.
The breakfast was well prepared and had both a full-English and continental options, the restaurant itself has really nice seats and open lay out.
The sheets of my room were very fresh and the bed well made.
The receptionist ‘Ares’ was incredibly pleasant on my arrival.
How can you have two properties with almost identical names? I thought I was staying close to the airport so I could teav easy into Manchester.
Because I was at the one further out , I missed work meetings that I had travelled especially for.
All staff were aware at both hotels that this was a common mistake and still you don’t do anything about it.
It put me off Booking.com completely .
I hope you can change this so this stops happening .
Excellent location for terminal 2 and others at Manchester airport, very clean and tidy rooms.
The bed was comfy and the shower was as most Ibis hotels are was very good.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was fine and reasonable value, had a very nice Sri Lankan chicken curry.
The location is excellent. The hotel is beautiful especially the quality of the construction. In addition, the restaurant is very good, the breakfast, as well. We selected this hotel because of its location but did not expect the qualities described above.
The staff were friendly and cared about our comfort and schedules, even letting us preorder breakfast and opening the restaurant a bit early so we had plentyof time to catch our flight. This will be my go to hotel from Now on when flying out
of Manchester.
The hotel was very close to the airport, which was very convenient. We also dropped off our rental car at the same location (Hertz), which was a bonus. We definitely recommend this hotel for a 2 night or overnight stay before your next flight.
We were upgraded to neighbouring Holiday Inn. Very comfortable room. Used for stop over before early morning flight. Well located within walking distance of terminals. We did not use the bar or other facilities at the hotel.
Always my go to hotel before or after flying. Just perfect. Excellent shuttle service, start, breakfast, rooms… staff very helpful & has online check in and coded key collection to avoid waiting at reception.
Good value, budget airport hotel, would absolutely recommend if you and family just need a bed for the night before a flight.
Decent size room, comfy beds, nice breakfast selection.
Bar was reasonable.
Actually they let us wait till midnight and tell us to go another hotel because they give our room to someone else and they don’t have enough rooms available and by the way paid the fees up front in booking
The hotel is just off airport so you can walk to the terminals—even #3. It’s new, clean, and offers reasonably priced food. The room was comfortable enough with plenty of outlets and charging ports.
Perfect location to stay before travelling from Manchester airport. The hotel is connected directly to the airport and is very comfortable and convenient. I will stay here much more often.
Our hotel preference when travelling from Manchester airport. The second time we’ve stayed and will stay again. Staff always friendly and helpful and facilities excellent
