Staff is great. They helped with sightseeing in Okayama, and even let me ship an urgent package from Amazon if I stayed another night. The amenities you get here are exceptional for the price you pay. Free popsicles and drinks, snacks for 10 yen, frozen omelette with rice or pasta for 100 yen. Free bicycle to ride around town which was very convenient to see the castle and museums. Free pastries for breakfast. The room is clean and good. Overall I had a great stay. This isn't an ordinary Japanese business hotel.

I chose Okayama as a destination because I wanted to see Korakuen Gardens rated as one of 3 best in Japan.
I also wanted to see Naoshima Art Island and it made a good day trip.
The Kibitsu-jinja Shinto Temple was a fantastic complex. And out in the country a bit so peaceful. Another good day trip.
The local Art Gallery had a good exhibition on and the Castle was one of the best I've seen.
The town is just a good size. All conveniences without the Osaka scramble.

Bustling and thriving, really cool underground mall / restaurant alley next to the JR Okiyama station. Many dining options in that vacinity. I was only in town for eighteen hours, barely saw anything but had a nice visit on my way to the ultimate destination.

Very beautiful and underrated area of Japan.
Very beautiful and underrated area of Japan. All the sights were lovely and it’s a good area if you’re interested in history, and leisure outdoor activities. I’d recommend really planning out your time since the transportation isn’t as frequent as Tokyo and lots of places close pretty early around 5/6pm.

There were beautiful gardens in the city including the wonderful botanic garden. The castle was also interesting. In addition, Okayama is a wonderful place to stay with day trips to wonderful cities/sites such as Hiroshima, Kurashiki, Naoshima or Himeji Castle.

Besides having a few interesting sightseeing options of its own (castle, Korakuen garden), Okayama is a very convenient place to stop for a few days because it's close to other popular places to visit (Kurashiki) and a gate to visit northeastern Shikoku
Perfect Location, connected to train station. Impeccable service, staff were all genuine warm smiles and bent over backwards to help their customers. The front office staff helped me with every booking (haircut, nail appointment, restaurant bookings, train tickets, you name it!) They were absolutely lovely to deal with and the meals we had at the hotel were delicious, especially the lounge treats were very good. Okayama was my favorite place to relax as it's not overcrowded like many other big Japanese cities.
Location was amazing! Easy to get to and from the station. The host was lovely and met us to give us keys when the cleaner hadn't put them back yet, we were able to check in early. Even though there was a language barrier, text to translate worked well. There was a spare bed we were able to use when my mother wasn't able to climb the stairs. It's a good taste of what the Japanese city life is like when it comes to apartment size. I did like the stay, I could see so much potential in the facility.
Location location location! You don’t even need to walk out of the station to get to the hotel. Just walk right into the stores on the same floor and boom!!! Go through the walk path that connects the hotel to the station….pass by a bunch of restaurants & omiague stores. The staff was super professional friendly and helpful. I will indeed come back to stay longer no doubt. We reserved a room that was very spacious and we had a wonderful view of Okayama. We loved this hotel!
Amazing large sento bath with lots of amenities, it was nice to know they also had a gym and coworking space. Room was spacious and clean. I was also able to borrow a curling iron for the duration of the stay (without having to return it to front desk immediately), which was extremely helpful. Loved that the hotel was connected to the station via underground passage, especially as it was rainy for the first day.
The location is amazing. Just next to Okayama Station and close to Aeon shopping mall.
The room was very simple but comfy. I love that you can choose which pillow you want to use. The doors open with a code which make it easier not to have to share the key.
The onsen was soooo nice! The breakfast was delicious and they have a free welcome bar in the afternoon that was a pleasant surprise.
My favorite accommodation for this trip. The cabins for women are large enough and the bed is really comfortable. The public bath is great and they even have a sauna. The hotel is located about 7-8 minutes aways from the station which makes it very convenient. The entrance is located in a long covered hallway with small stores/stalls. At night, there are plenty of options right outside.
Decent affordable hotel. It is a bit dated but perfectly functional and convenient.
Staff is international so English is OK.
Beds and pillows were very comfortable and big. It's not very close to the station but a frequent bus stops nearby and takes you directly to the station at the other side of the main road which is pretty long to walk.
OK for short stays.
Rooms were very spacious and well-fitted. Had a lovely view out over the canals. Situated walking distance from the main train station, as well as many shops and restaurants (including a pharmacy that has direct access to the hotel lobby). The hotel has a lovely, calming vibe with mini gallery exhibitions on each hall. Staff were attentive and polite.
The hotel kindly gave us a free upgrade when we checked in so we got a much larger room by Japan standards. The room seemed newly renovated as well and everything was impeccably clean. Comfortable with a nice city view. Staff were also polite. Perfect location right beside station yet quiet with good room soundproofing
Friendly hospitality, excellent recommendations for local activities and restaurants, plenty of room for a rainy day (we had 1, and used it as a rest day), good access to Naoshima, Okayama. Very quiet location, birds, sakura. Pick up and drop off at the station at start and finish of our trip
The location is perfect. It's close to Okayama Castle and Karakoen Garden. Also accessible to a tram going to Okayama station. I love the table and chair in our room. Very useful when we had to work.We stayed at the 9th floor which gave a perfect view of the city.
Such a beautiful, cosy and welcoming place to stay! An easy 5-10min walk from Okayama station and a good base to explore the area. Staff were kind and helpful, facilities were good and easy to use, and I loved the more traditional guesthouse feel!
The hotel was an easy walk from Okayama Station. I greatly enjoyed the complimentary ice creams after a soak in the public baths and the two shelves of manga available for guests to peruse!
Great location, just across the road from Okayama Station, in front of tram stop, also connected to underground shopping. Coin laundry is convenient. Room is spacious.
The hotel is well located for the station. The bedroom was very comfortable. The sento was relaxing. The breakfast was good. Stayed for 1 night on the way to Naoshima.
The hotel is very well located. Close to the train station and restaurant district. The room was clean and well organized. The staff was very friendly and proactive.
