This was an excellent stop on our Amalfi coast journey. Only 20 minutes away from the coast, in the beautiful mountains, peaceful village to change your scenery and experience a less touristy side of Italy. The staff was very nice and accommodating, super welcoming and sweet. I would love to stay longer, but they were fully booked for several days ahead. The Tramonti village is known for its cheese, for make sure to ask the locals for the best cheese producer and buy some (I can still taste the amazing fresh cheese we got). The rooms have everything you need, are clean, calm and private. The terrace overlooking the mountains was the cherry on top. And of course, the amazing Luisa was such a nice host, we chatted and laughed even though my Italian is very poor. Highly recommended to visit!

Nice little town with a couple of places to eat, local shops with very friendly residents. Transport needed from Tramonti to explore the wider area, as Tramonti itself is quite remote (15 minutes drive from nearest coast at Maiori).

You take your life into your own hands driving on roads around Tramonti and the Amalfi Coast It is like the wild west Cars and bikes constantly tailgate you and roar past at first opportunity Other vehicles coming towards you drive in the middle of the road It is a miracle that we returned our hire car with no damage

Wonderful place in a peaceful location surrounded by lemon...
Wonderful place in a peaceful location surrounded by lemon groves. Marika and her brothers who run the place are super friendly and eager to please their guests. Made us feel right at home. The room is basic but comfy and offers great views. Loved the balcony area where you can sit and just stare at the view for hours. Easy to reach the coast from here, good if you are on a budget but still be close to the Amalfi coast, good for food options in order to avoid the touristic traps of the well known coastal towns, a bit secluded if you don't like driving on mountains roads, I suggest to get accommodation with parking included as it's very difficult to find a spot even in a small mountain town.

For sound just a dog bark once in a while. And if you wish to have the most wonderful dinner in a garden full of rose bushes, just step outside and in a few meters you’ll find the Il Tintore. That’s the scene in the village of the setting sun, in Tramonti. Just wonderful!sturmFrance
- 9.1Scored 9.1WonderfulRated wonderful· 173 reviewswhere do I begin the the Bouganville was amazing Lucia and Rosaria are one of the nicest people we have ever met, they were always on hand to help if we got stuck or needed anything with the help of Google translate and they made sure our needs were met, they was a few times where we got stuck due to the xmas period and there were no taxi or bus , so Rosaria helped made sure we got home safely, the hotel is exquisite with the balcony views are stunning I would defiantly recommend and will be coming again ! xx

The bus stop is only 5 mins down the road too. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone always had a smile on their faces! Every morning we went down the narrow streets to have an expresso at the Sprint Cafe,together with the locals.We had a wonderful dinner at the local Il Tintore restaurant. The cheese maker next door gave us fresh ricotta on arrival. You can experience all the sights, sounds and smells of rural Tramonti here. Great location for the coast and Ravello. Loved getting our daily €1 granizo on the road in and out of Tramonti. Comfortable bed, washing machine useful for long stays. Great value.

Belvedere di Gloria has a wonderful garden and magnificent surroundings to look at. The terrace we had was great to have for breakfast and lunches. It is 1 min from the bus stop so that is very good. We as a group was very pleased with both Maria and Tramonti :)

The place has a beautiful garden one can enjoy, the breakfast was rich and tasty and the cherry on top of the cake was, of course, Antonio (the host). Totally recommend it! Would love to return.
