This historic property is impossibly charming. Once used as a abbey, the church still stands and the common areas are very well manicured. The family that runs the hotel is so very warm and welcoming and provided indispensable information from where to eat, places to go, and things to do. They are absolutely lovely folks. Fresh bread and croissant are available each morning (as long as you order the previous evening) and there is a coffee bar for fresh, hot cafe, couple the two with the impossible views of the valleys and you have an absolutely perfect way to start each day. The property is very rustic and period correct. No a/c and extra frills, but it's so lovely. The onsite restaurant serves well prepared meals and a wonderfully friendly staff.

Villa Grassina is stunning in many ways. The views are breathtaking. The location offers so much. The rooms are super nice and the staff are a dream. They are so willing to offer support/help and advice. The restaurant offers local wine from the region and has an amazing view over the Tuscany countryside.

Questa struttura è fantastica: quasi sul cucuzzolo di un collina, circondata dai boschi e con una vista bellissima, consta di un corpo centrale, una piccola chiesetta e alcune casette in sasso....più un ristorante leggermente staccato, che però non ho provato. Ho avuto la fortuna di alloggiare in una di queste piccole casette, in posizione abbastanza defilata, con il mio terrazzino privato e la mia personalissima vista sul tramonto. Valentina è stata una padrona di casa meravigliosa, mi sarei fermato a parlare con lei per ore.

La gentilezza e accoglienza del personale,la struttura esterna è bellissima, panorama fantastico. Le stanze sono accoglienti ma dovrebbero essere un po' più curate. Il ristorante ottimo sia come struttura che come cibo. Nel complesso siamo stati benissimo, consigliato per chi vuole godersi la pace!
