Refund my purchase. I did not receive the service I paid for. The hotel prohibited me from staying, even though I fully paid online.

I really enjoyed visiting with the owner/ manager. Everyone was super friendly. I also appreciated the the nostalgic history of this Hotel. The rooms were well kept and clean. The restaurants in the area were amazing as well. A fun place to stay if you like history, and the proximity to the square downtown.

The drive up from Santa Fe and the view of the Rio Grande...
The drive up from Santa Fe and the view of the Rio Grande gorge was exquisite. The church of San Francisco de Asis is a beautiful example of Spanish Mission style adobe churches and the people of the community are wonderful, welcoming, and pleasant. Five Star burgers had great food and a good selection of local beers.

The staff is excellent. Room was charming and comfortable. Well, maintained. The breakfast is one of the best we've ever had. They had tamales! The salsa was fresh and tasty. Cookies chips and salsa in the afternoon in the lobby. On site laundry. Taos is easy to get around and they have an excellent public library.

Taos is currently working on their Plaza.
Taos is currently working on their Plaza. I’m looking forward to that project being completed. Around the Plaza the Gorge and the Alley Cantina are both great places to eat and drink. The trip to Rancho de Taos is mandatory. Not only for the beautiful church but for the restaurant in the plaza behind the church. The Ranchos Plaza Grill is fantastic!! Their hours are kinda weird so check before going.

Slightly too touristy for my liking, but with some lovely walks when you drive to them; well worth to go to the Rio GRande gorge walks and also see the bridge and walk across it; Taos pueblo is always worth a visit and to do a tour there; this time we did the enchanted circle drive, very stunnng scenery.
Taos centre is ok for a coffee, but I would avoid it mainly
The room was very spacious and comfortable; room was clean and bed was great. The room had a nice private little patio in back that faced an open green lawn. Breakfast is hearty, with many options, although the buffet is set up in a quite small area. Location is walking distance to the plaza and most galleries. Hotel parking on large lot is free. Check-in was fast and easy, and they allowed us to check-in an hour early. If you're looking for a quality Taos hotel, but not extravagant, in a good location, this is it. Highly recommend!
La Fonda more than met my expectations. I know it is an older hotel but it has been kept up very well and still has it's charm. The staff at the front desk were OUTSTANDING!!! So friendly and helpful. The room workd well for us as we needed two bedrooms. We stayed in Room 214 and it would have been nice if the bathroom was more central than having to go into the other person's room, but it worked for us.
When you select a hotel based on internet information you hope when you arrive it will meet your expectations. Hotel Don Fernando De Taos exceeded my expectations and then some. The staff was personable and professional. The main lobby is spacious and more like a resort than a hotel. My room was large, modern and very tastefully decorated. A great place to stay and a great value.
The property is absolutely amazing for a getaway. . While still
being close to the Taos Plaza the hotel seems secluded and surrounded by nature. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. If available, I recommend getting a room with a fireplace as it adds to the ambiance at night. The daily breakfast is superb and sunsets are incredible.
what a delight! totally surreal, but functional too.
I found hotel Luna mystica on TripAdvisor, wasn’t planning on staying overnight in Taos but couldn’t pass this up. incredibly unique experience to sleep in a very comfortable retro camper. after a day of exploring it was lovely to sit at a campfire and stargaze.
I had a home in Taos for several years. When I come back for a visit I always stay at Hacienda del Sol and am Never disappointed. The rooms and bed are exceptionally comfortable and well appointed w the charm you'd expect to experience in New Mexico, The breakfast is wonderful and the location is the best.
The hotel could be interesting, if it were clean and maintained properly and you could attract a little better clientele. When you do maintenance on the rooms, put in good shower heads and don't just slop on the tile grout to fill large spaces missing tiles.
Our room was in an older part of the hotel. It had a little fireplace and was decorated in keeping with the name of the hotel. The bathroom had a pueblo ladder with towels on it. Beds comfy, room clean, friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast buffet and area.
Great location with good commons area with nice atmosphere and art. It was easy to walk from this hotel to the shops, restaurants and other attractions in Taos. They have done well trying to preserve the historical significance of this location.
The room was a great size and very clean. We had a king bed room and the bed was very comfortable. The staff at check-in let us check in early and have us great tips for food and things to do in Taos. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
Lovely, well equipped and comfortable house within 10 minutes walk of the centre of Taos. Very clean, easy to check in and out. Good parking. Nice touch to have some old school computer games etc available. Enjoyed our two night stay.
The hotel manager went above and beyond to help me with my travel plans. I really appreciate the extra effort. This was my first time staying there. I will definitely make plans to stay there the next time I am in Taos
the room was wonderful, so was the location and the property: the hotel is situated in a big lovely garden
We wish to particularly praise Mr. Jerome for his welcoming warmth, kindness and very pleasant disposition
Downstairs King room unavailable when I checked in so they upgraded me to
Downstairs King suite. Really nice. This property is special and is located with easy access to all the restaurants in Taos.
