With amazing weather and multiple picturesque locations in and around, Bedugul is a must visit for people looking to explore the REAL Bali.
I have been to Bali twice and find Kuta/Seminyak/Nusa Dua and the other most frequented places to be too touristy and commercial. You will enjoy every bit of the humble hospitality that the Balinese have to offer when you explore the unexplored!
The locals treat you like royalty and are the most polite of indigenous population I have come across throughout my little travel across the world

bedugul has limited offerings. good passing thru spot. the temple is disappointing and the market has quite a lot of possible purchases but the shop owners are very pushy.
the botanical gardens and the lovely garden centre lined street leading up are worth a wander.

Bedugul is great for a day time trip to see the temple and lakes, for a few hours. Some nice warungs with cheap and tasty food. Wouldn’t recommend staying overnight in bedugul though, especially if you don’t have a motorbike/car yourself.

The surrounding of this hotel is truly breathtaking. If you're seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the perfect place for you. The furniture in the rooms may be a bit dated, but it's still functional and comfortable. The beds are cozy, and the air conditioning works well. The hotel boasts a large territory with lush greenery, providing guests with fresh air and a gorgeous place to unwind. If you're looking for a serene escape, this hotel offers just that.
The view was AMAZING! I think people come here the main reason is for the lake. They only have 5 wood cabin, large size with separate room for wardrobe and bathroom. The weather was cold, but the room is warm coz they provided us with electric blanket. The restaurant also had good food, so you don't have to go outside to find a food.
The location for this hotel is quite far, so make sure you arrive before dark. We get lost because of the google map direction, but still make it here at 6PM.
Everything was awesome, friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, good food at the restaurant. As location is very close to many points of interest in Bedugul like Handara Gate, Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, Selfie points, waterfalls they can help with renting a scooter at a fair price, with pickup and delivery at the location.
We also met Chris, the manager, an awesome person which helped us with the transfers to and from the location and with the scooter rental.
The views, the “adventures” feeling, in the forests’ and mountain feeling, the most friendly host Agus, Putu and the staffs;
The delicious foods, the large eggs, the coffee, the SPECIAL VEGGIES, the free FRUITS gifts, the Special Order “Chicken feet” are very delicious.
The location is close to Bedugul Botanical Garden and Beratan Lake.
This hotel is the special attraction without which your trip will lose a lot. It is fabulously beautiful here, every corner is decorated with great taste and love, and the view from the rooms is simply unsurpassed. Very kind and friendly people work in the hotel. It's amazing that all this beauty Mr. Nyoman created himself.
The breakfast was great, both that delivered to our room and the one served on the rooftop. The location was wonderful too. Easy to walk to the temple, lake and restaurants. The hotel also arranged a driver to take us to play golf at Handarra and also to visit the botanical gardens. We would definitely stay here again.
My friend and I spent 5 nights at Eco Camp and it was just fabulous! Our hosts helped us for anything we needed: taxis, motorcycle, dinner, etc... They were very friendly and kind! The breakfast was always delicious and very generous!! 🙃
Thank you so much for making our first days in Bali so great 😃
The whole stay was amazing. The Hotel is situated right by the main street so it's easy to find and route to all waterfalls is easy to reach from it. The stay at this place was very peaceful and delightful, and has very unique climat. Food is very delicious and there's a big menu variety.
Amazing private room surrounding the forest with a view on the valley. Very good food for breakfast and dinner, nice staff always happy to help. The swimming pool is a bit fresh but super nice too. Highly recommend this hotel close to Munduk and many waterfalls!
The hotel is centered, easily accessible. The staff is welcoming and helpful if you need to book a scooter for example.
The room was very adequate. With a balcony area overlooking the lake.
I think we were the only one in this big hotel during this off season.
The location was right in front of the lake.. they have hot water. The view from the balcony was good. Had a good sleep without the aircon given bedugul was a cooler area.
