Comfortable bed and pillows, nice balcony and roomy bathroom. Great breakfast with lots of options. The wellness center was wonderful with pool large enough to swim laps and also jets for massage. Plenty of space in sauna and relaxation area. Also yoga and workout room. The only missing thing was the hot tub which was out of service.

Large terraine to explore. Skiing all the way to Klosters was fun. Long cruising runs and some steeps to keep it varied. Lots of side runs along the valley to keep it fresh. Keeps you busy for the week.

I arrived on the afternoon of a festival where the one-way Promenade was traffic free. With many street food stalls, music and a lot of public. The walk around the lake was enjoyable and also a trip up to Jakobshorn of reduced ticket prices (Fr. 18.- return, make sure that at the top you can get through the turnstile and not pay for the downhill journey like we did. Got a refund at the cash desk at the bottom though) for hotel guests with the tourist card. Also free travel on the the nostalgic train to Filisur and back and on all buses was a bonus. Scenery is splendid, and if you're a train enthusiast, it's the place to be for the Bernina or Glacier Express. Can recommend a bite to eat or just Coffee and Cake at Kaffee Klatsch on the Promenade. Schatzalp is just a funicular away and you'll feel lifted back to the beginning of the last century.

Davos - and Klosters - are great for holidays in summer and winter. skiing and nordic skiing anyway. But in summer there is the lake for kayaking or surfing or - if you don't mind the cold water - swimming. The mountains for downhill biking or hikes. The outdoors are second to none. In addition Davos offers a fantastic cultural program for visitors. Concerts, Young Artists or established orchestras etc. --- you can get special and unique experiences there. I highly recommend to look at the visitors or guest program by the DavosKlosters Tourist Board. From disc-golf to carriage rides, archery or visits by historic bus to Monstein brewery -- a divers and fabulous array of offers, you can only book them 2 weeks in advance but it's so worth it. Loads to do, adventure park, playgrounds and so much more. And you can get anywhere by bus or train.

Davos is a lovely city. Lots of walking/cycling routes. I recommend walking around Davos Lake. Trains/Buses are always on time and immaculate as for all of Switzerland. We had a lovely outdoor thermal swim in the local Wellness swimming pool called Eau-La-La, kids enjoyed the water slide.

Beautiful nature all around.
Beautiful nature all around. Parsens is a great place to ski with beautifull slopes. We didnt have time to explore other ski resorts around. Will try next time. They also have cross country skiing which i will try next time. There is a swimming pool and ice skating option in Davos. You can also visit Kirchners museum and admire his pictures. They have great backeries. You should try their Nut cake there. They have nice restaurants but the prices are really killing. It looks like there are only very wealthy people there who can pay all this. Reasonable option is to eat in Coop restaurant. We had a Christmas dinner at Angelo’s place which is a great place with a good food and very nice staff. We also liked Mountain’s Akt Bar. They had a good music and nice staff.

I was there for the annual running event "Davos X Trails".
I was there for the annual running event "Davos X Trails". I had time on my hands so I playds tourist for a few days. Summer is the quiet period in Davos and you find a lot of walkers there. All the scenic liftes were open and as the weather was great there were a lot of people enjoying the lifts , walks and general scenery. Highly recommended.
My stay at this hotel was great. It is located close to the train station (Davos Darf) and the Parsenn ski station is in the opposite of the hotel. You can get to the Jakobshorn by the bus (bus stop in front of the hotel). The hotel also provided me with the public transportation ticket for my stay, which was a positive surprise. The room was nice, clean and even though there is an apres ski bar at the ground floor you could not hear anything. The staff was super friendly and helpful :)
The Waldhotel is located near the center of Davos, you can choose the tourist promenade or a hike to the nearby hills, for example to the Schatzalp. There is also a funicular railway. The balcony with sunbeds and armchairs offers wonderful relaxation and views. The wellness center has a swimming pool. The staff is very helpful. The hotel restaurant offers excellent food. I warmly recommend!
Parking available and included in the price of the accommodation.
+ location - 5 minute walk to the Parsenn station, shops and supermarkets close-by, bus stop in front of the aparthotel
+ clean and well maintained apartments (albeit rather old-ish)
+ very good value for money (which is quite a challenge in generally overpriced Davos)
+ easy communication with the reception (prior to arrival on the phone and mail, check-in, check-out)
+ free of charge parking (limited spaces, but still very convenient)
- very nice breakfast, all you would want and also good quality
- nice lobby area with a fireplace
- didn‘t test the pool etc., but looked ok
- I really want to emphasize one more thing: one member from the reception desk, which was a gentleman from Hungary, was incredibly kind (don‘t know the name anymore).
- all in all, a good stay and I would go again to this hotel, when in Davos
We stayed from Sunday till Monday (one night) at Shima Davos for a cross-country vacation. We arrived around noon and got our room almost right away. The owner was very nice and spoke perfect English.
The cross country tracks were right outside, and it would have been super easy to go for alpine skiing from there with the included guess pass for the local transport. Can really recommend!
We booked the hotel last minute bec of unexpected changes on our planned trip. Luckily, we saw this hotel and the price was good for Davos. Didnt expect the place was beautiful for the price. A really good find for us. It comes with breakfast the location is good you have bus stops in the area and there are shops and restaurants also nearby. They also have stunning views.
Seehof hotel has a great location in Davos, quite central, close to the gondolas and train station. Rooms are quite big, and very clean, the personnel is very attentive and responsive. Nice lobby and salon area, they have a beautiful fire place to stay around in the evening, for a drink.
Large variety of products and fresh for breakfast!
I felt so grateful that it was in the best location. right outside was the ski resort, train, ski rentals and little grocery store.
Perfect walking distance to other restaurants but you couldn’t beat the hotel restaurants and breakfast. The hotel staff were more than helpful. All in all best experience in Davos.
Great location, a few steps to the main road of Davos. Very silent room, with a beautiful view of the mountain, There is a 24h room with snaks, croissants, juices, yogurts and water. I loved it. It is a budget hotel, so not so comfortable.
The food, the rooms, the ski room, the nice staff.
For me this is the golden Standard of what a 4 start hotel should offer.
For me a great Place to stay. The migros next door is a big plus
Great location for skiing in Davos - easy walk to Jakobshorn gondola. Two blocks from train station, new, clean, parking, ski room, grocery store across the street.
