Wellington Motel has not returned my $100 "security deposit". We checked out Sunday morning October 1 and today is Thursday October 5. Travelling to catch up with family so a convenient location for us to stay and spend our days with the family. Beautiful Gateway Park Walk along the Murray River with spectacular sculptures depicting dreaming stories! A great activity to share with family. Lunch at Henri's Bakery - fresh, made-on-the-spot sandwiches, delicious!

I went to Wodonga to see the Army Museum at Bandiana which was excellent! Well organised, plenty of interesting exhibits, and very helpful staff. We spent 2+hours there. Had some extra time, so visted Lake Hume and the weir, which were very impressive. Then called in at Bonagilla Migrant Museum, on a whim, and surprisingly found it absolutely fascinating. Plus there were hundreds of kangaroos on the grounds. We came away from Bonagilla with a new appreciation of Australia's post war migrants. A moving experience for us.V

When the room service was inaccurate (4 times) the staff were super helpful trying to make it right including taking inaccurate purchases off the bill when we went to reception and pointed out the errors. Further, when they got our maintenance list they discussed our concerns with us.
