We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Sicily.
The staff was really amazing. They provided us with a list of sights to see and beaches to visit, which was great for a first time visit of Tropea.
The place is very peaceful, situated some 2 km uphill from Tropea (no chance of going to the beach by foot). All rooms are separate and on the ground floor, so the guests exit directly in the garden. Surprisingly it felt very friendly. The pool is rather small, but even though we enjoyed one afternoon at the pool and it was great. The pool area is shaded by trees over grass, so it made it extra chill in hot August.
The breakfast starts at 8 (excellent breakfast), and we had to leave before that. The staff, opened 30 minutes before just to make sure that we had our breakfasts. Not much, but it just says a lot about the staff.
I highly recommend the restaurant in the Villa. Very tasteful dinner.

During check in we were offered an upgrade for our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The resort grounds were well maintained. The resort had their own private beach.
The 4-star Rocca Nettuno Tropea is a 5-minute drive from Tropea and just 984 feet from its own private beach. It offers an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi in the lobby.

The beach was wonderful get location. The manager Antonella at the front desk was professional and very attentive.
This is a wonderful family run hotel - It's spotlessly clean, very COVID safe, opportunities to dine outdoors. Wonderful food, outstanding service from the staff at breakfast and the waiter at dinner anticipated our every need. The pool is set in a chilled out garden with views of the sea in the distance. We had an extremely relaxing week here and were sad to leave. You can be sure of a warm welcome at Villa Garden.
Beautiful view, in september the hotel was very calm and peaceful. Big room and lots of space outside. Marcello was a wonderful host. He spoke very good english and helped me with car rental/taxi booking etc.
